Our poll reveals the top favorite activities when the snow is falling—reading a book, watching the snowfall, baking, movie marathons, and even a little decluttering! When the snow is falling outside, there’s nothing better than curling up with a good book—at least, that’s how I’d vote! And I’m in good company, as 33% of my GON readers said they love getting lost in a great story while staying warm indoors. But what really surprised me (in the best way!) was how many people simply enjoy watching the snow fall. A number of the 19% who chose "Other" shared comments about just sitting quietly, sipping a warm drink, and soaking in the peacefulness of a snowy day. There’s something so calming about that. Of course, many also love watching a movie or binging a show (16%), snuggling up for a well-deserved nap (12%), or baking something warm and delicious (8%). A few even spend their time crafting, scrapbooking (5%) or decluttering just a little (5%). And for the adventurous 2% who head outside to build a snowman or go sledding or skiing—I admire your enthusiasm, but I’ll be over here with my book and blanket! Then tackle email and files that are cluttering my computer • Where I live, we don't often get snow. My top favorites include slow cooking something yummy (soup, stew), reading a good book, and drifting into a cozy nap • It doesn't usually snow where I live, but I'd choose to curl up with my cats and a good book. • This was a tough one. Here in Oklahoma, we seldom get a significant snow. Had one a couple of days ago, and we're still a little curtailed on activities outside the home (work, shopping, etc.). That said, at times of other inclement weather, I like to bake, watch movies, declutter, or read. • Pack and go to Florida! I live in the Bay Area in CA. I've been in actual snow twice in my life. • I like to take a walk in the snow. We don’t usually get much snow, so when we do I like to get out and enjoy it!
