PRINTABLE ORGANIZING CHECKLIST: Click here for PDF Printable Organizing Checklist Click here for Basic Text Organizing Checklist Enjoy the sunshine while getting things done—one doable task each day! Whether you’re tackling outdoor spaces, managing paperwork, or preparing for holidays like Flag Day and Father’s Day, these daily TO DOs make it easy to stay productive without overwhelming your schedule. Perfect for anyone looking to stay organized in June, this checklist blends time-saving home maintenance tips, seasonal decluttering ideas, and summer-friendly cleaning reminders…all able to be accomplished in 15 minutes or less. Jun 1 Porch Sweep-Up: Sweep cobwebs from porch corners and around light fixtures. Use a broom or extendable duster to reach high areas and check for spider webs near door frames. Jun 2 Clear Your Camera Roll: Set a timer and delete as many blurry or duplicate photos from your phone as you can. Aim to clear at least one month’s worth to free up space and improve organization. Jun 3 Tidy a Junk Drawer: Clean and sort one small junk drawer—say goodbye to dried-out pens, old rubber bands, and menus you never use. Use small containers or dividers to keep what's left in order. Jun 4 Refresh Outdoor Furniture: Wipe down outdoor chairs and tables to prep for summer guests. Don’t forget the undersides and legs where dirt and cobwebs often collect. Jun 5 Car Care: Refill your car’s windshield washer fluid and toss out trash in the side compartments. While you're at it, wipe down the dashboard and steering wheel. Jun 6  Soap Station Reset: Clean the soap dish or soap pump at every sink—it’s often overlooked. Rinse thoroughly and wipe away any soap scum or residue. Jun 7  Laundry Shelf Declutter: Go through your laundry detergent stash and use up the half-empty ones first. Discard any that are expired or have hardened. Jun 8  Weed Patrol: Walk your property and pull up weeds growing through walkways or driveway cracks. Consider using a weed pulling tool. Sweep up loose debris to keep it looking tidy. Jun 9  Microwave Makeover: Clean the inside of your microwave by steaming a bowl of water with lemon juice, then wiping it down. This loosens grime and leaves a fresh scent. Jun 10 Closet Edit: Pick 5 pieces of clothing you haven’t worn in months (or years). Donate or set aside to sell. Be honest about fit, comfort, and whether you still love it. Jun 11 Game & Puzzle Check: Sort through board games or puzzles—recycle any with missing pieces and reorganize what’s left. Stack boxes neatly by size and label if needed. Jun 12 Light Up the Outdoors: Check all outdoor lighting—replace bulbs and tighten loose fixtures. Wipe off cobwebs and dirt for a brighter glow. Jun 13 Create a Summer Bin: Set up a simple “summer bin” near your back door with sunscreen, bug spray, and sun hats. Make it easy to grab and go. Jun 14 (Flag Day) Patriotic Touch-Up: Display your American flag or patriotic decor, and straighten or clean anything already out. Wipe down poles, wash fabric flags if needed, and store extras neatly. Jun 15 (Father’s Day) Honor a Father Figure: If your dad or a father figure is still with you, write a heartfelt note or gather photos to gift or share. If he's passed on, take a moment to reflect, frame a favorite photo, or jot down a memory you treasure. Jun 16 Fridge Top Cleanup: Dust the top of your refrigerator and toss expired fridge magnets, coupons, or notes. Vacuum the coils if accessible for better efficiency. Jun 17 Inbox Slim Down: Delete 10 old emails from subscriptions you no longer read—and unsubscribe as you go. Do this while watching TV or waiting in line. Jun 18 Hose & Faucet Check: Clean your outdoor faucet handle and check for leaks or drips. Wrap any tools or hoses you’ve used and put them away neatly. Jun 19 Bathroom Counter Freshen-Up: Tidy up your bathroom counter—refill cotton swabs, discard old razors, and neatly arrange what’s left. Wipe down the countertop with disinfectant. Jun 20 (First Day of Summer) Summer Essentials Station: Celebrate the new season by setting up your summer essentials: fill a basket or tray with sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, a good book, bug spray, and your favorite iced beverage tumbler—ready for relaxing outdoors in style. Place it where it inspires you to enjoy summer breaks. Jun 21 Swap to Summer Bedding: Swap out heavy bedding for lighter summer bedding—wash what’s going into storage. Add lavender sachets to storage bins for a fresh scent. Jun 22 Tote Bag Tidy-Up: Go through your tote bags—keep only your favorites and donate the extras. Store them upright in a basket or hook them neatly in your closet. Jun 23 Shine Your Silver: Polish any dull silver or stainless steel flatware or serving pieces. Use a soft cloth and gentle polish to bring back the shine. Jun 24 Magazine Rack Refresh: Sort your magazine rack—recycle anything over two months old. Keep only current favorites and place neatly in a holder. Jun 25 Fridge Door Audit: Check the expiration dates on condiments in your refrigerator door. Wipe down sticky bottles and adjust for easier reach. Jun 26 Dust Your Houseplants: Wipe the leaves of any houseplants with a damp cloth to remove dust. While you’re at it, check for yellowing or dead leaves. Jun 27 Fix or Toss: Gather up any broken items you intended to fix and either repair or toss them today. Label what you’re keeping so it doesn’t get forgotten. Jun 28 One Shelf, One Goal: Clean out one shelf of your bathroom cabinet—combine duplicates and toss expired items. Use a small basket to keep similar items together. Jun 29 Tidy the Towels: Refold and straighten your kitchen towels—retire any that are stained or torn. Consider cutting old ones into cleaning cloths. Jun 30 Plan for July: Look ahead to July—jot down any events, appointments, or goals in your planner. Make a short list of July projects you want to accomplish. Back to Monthly Organizing Checklists Index
