For gift cards I plan to use in the grocery store and other retail stores that I “physically” visit, I keep those in my wallet, in the same slot as my debit card…but in FRONT of it. When I go into my wallet to pay, I don’t forget to use the gift card because it’s the first thing I see. If you use cash, put your gift cards in the same section as your money so you see them when you’re ready to pay. For gift cards I plan to use online, I have a large envelope that holds all the gift cards I receive as gifts.
