In order to create proper balance, you must have goals. Choose those activities that will help you live the kind of life you desire. Make a list of what you're trying to achieve, those tasks that you're responsible for, and the things you don't want to miss out on.

Once you do this, go back to your list and assign a priority code to each one using the following key:

A Priority = This is vital to the achievement of my goals. I must do it immediately.

B Priority = This is important to the achievement of my goals. I must do it soon.

C Priority = This is not very important to the achievement of my goals, but would be nice to do if I have the time.
