When computers started becoming popular,
there was a lot of talk about this
utopia called the paperless society.
The funny thing is, this new technology has actually
increased the volume
of paper in our lives. Check out these statistics: 1) There are 600,000,000 pages printed from computers every day. That's enough to fill a file drawer 170 miles long! 2) There are 175.9 billion fax pages sent/received per day; a 1500% increase in only the past 5 years! Anyway, you're probably well aware that the paperless society is nothing more than a hope and a dream. Maria's new book Finally Organized, Finally Free for the Home | |
