In a nutshell, a professional organizer is an individual who provides personal assistance, ideas, publications, seminars and/or products to help others get organized. What does a Professional Organizer provide? Some of the most common are below, but please don't feel you're limited to these. You can get as creative as your heart desires: * Hands-on Organizing Assistance * Books, Newsletters and Other Publications * One-on-One Consulting * Group seminars and workshops * Other Consulting (E-mail, Telephone, Web, Teleclasses, etc.) * Organizing Products Training Courses for Other Organizers Do I require special education or training? Absolutely not. You just need to have a knack for organizing, a desire to help others, and the willingness to learn how to market and grow your business. What are the start-up costs? You can start this business with little or no money. There are many low-cost or free methods available to promote your business. How much money can I make? That's entirely up to you, your knowledge, skill, creativity and dedication. If you're a go-getter, the professional organizing field can certainly be a very lucrative one for you!
