Passion--A Key Ingredient in Your Success Recipe

by Maria Gracia

If you want to be successful in the professional organizing field, you've got to truly WANT that success.

This PASSION is the powerful drive that is going to get you to your destination--no matter what.

Passion is a key ingredient in your success recipe. Find your passion, and use it to reach your goals.

1. BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT. You can't be wishy washy about it. You can't be unsure. If you want to be successful in this field, you have to believe that you have the ability and the motivation to do so.

2. VISUALIZE IT. You actually have to see your goals ahead of you, and work every day to reach those goals. Think in specifics. Do you see $50,000 ahead of you in a year or two? Do you see yourself living in a new house, paid for by the income you're bringing in. Do you see a trip overseas, paid for by your efforts. Do you see a book, with your name printed on it as the author? Keep a picture of what you want, in front of you at all times.

3. DON'T BE DISCOURAGED BY OBSTACLES. If business success was a smooth path, everyone would be rich. It simply doesn't work that way. When an obstacle blocks your path--and it will--you must break past that obstacle and proceed. Don't let it stop you. You have to overcome it.

4. LOVE WHAT YOU DO. It's critical to absolutely love your business, and what you're selling. If it's a struggle for you to focus and work on your business, you're not going to move ahead. If you wake up in the morning, motivated to take your business to the next level, each day you'll get closer and closer to what you want. You must also love your services and/or products. If you don't wholeheartedly believe in what you're selling--if you don't think what you have is valuable--your potential customers won't either.

5. NEVER LIMIT YOUR LEARNING. No matter how much you know, you can never know enough. If you agree that there is no limit to what you can learn about yourself and your business, and you spend your time learning everything you can, you'll continue growing every day.
