Organizing Challenges 5 Challenges Related to Updates You Can Do Easily September is a super time to do some updating...here are 5 challenges related to updates you can do easily. Have fun getting them done! 1. Update your family emergency list: On my computer, using Word, I made up a family emergency list that includes contact information for emergency services, close relatives, neighbors and friends. I keep it posted on my refrigerator where it can be accessed instantly if someone needs it, and also keep a copy in my purse. I simply update and reprint as needed. 2. Update your Christmas card list: Don’t wait until November, when life becomes super-busy, to do this task. Remove those you don’t plan to mail to, and update names and addresses as applicable. When card mailing season rolls around, you’ll be all set. 3. Update your apps: Is your phone asking you to update your apps? If so, take care of doing that this week. 4. Update your resume: Even if you’re not currently looking for a job, this is a great time to get your resume up to date. It’s easier to do when you’re not feeling stressed. Besides, it might be the push you need to start a new work adventure.  5. Update your decor: Are you tired of the same old-same old? September is a great time to stow away summer decor, and rotate in fall decorations. September is also a wonderful time to paint if one of your rooms is in need of a fresh coat.
