Organizing ChallengesFocus on ONE room each weekEvery week, I choose ONE room in my house to focus on. For me, this week, it was my daughter’s bathroom (also the guest bathroom). She’s 13, so she is experimenting with various lip glosses, eye shadows, shampoos, hair ties, and other grooming products, and her bathroom drawers were beginning to get messy. I sorted each item into its own container (from the Dollar Store).I also re-folded the towels in her bathroom closet that were a bit disheveled. Finally, I used a disinfectant wipe on the countertop, sink, and toilet bowl. This project took me about 20 minutes.Next week, I’ll focus on the master bathroom. The week after that, I’ll focus on the kitchen pantry. You get the idea. Focus on one room, and do at least one thing in that one room. You can do it all in one day…or do a tiny project in that room over many days in the same week. This is a wonderful way to keep on top of things without it taking a whole lot of time or effort.
