Here are five random, mini organizing challenges that you can easily start and complete to feel empowered! 1. Delete when you’re done. When you’re done responding to an email, delete the original message. If you feel like you have to keep the original email  or your response (should be only in rare cases), get it out of your inbox and move it into a labeled folder. 2. Clear the surface. Remove all items and papers off the top of your desk, so you can actually see the surface. If you have to toss everything on the floor or in a box, so be it. Using a disinfectant wipe, clean off the surface including drawer handles. Clean and return the “musts” only, like your desk lamp, computer and its accessories, your phone, calculator, a coaster, a file tray, and your “Daily Files” holder. 3. Unload the dishwasher. Run the dishwasher cycle as soon as you’re done eating. Unload the dishwasher and clear the sinks before going to bed. In the morning, you can avoid this hassle and get started on your day. 4. Empty out the car. Before exiting your car, (at the end of the day), gather up all garbage or unattended items left inside. For example, collect any books, empty glasses, wrappers, old magazines, and so on until your automobile is free of clutter. 5. Shake ‘em out. Bring door mats and other small rugs outside and give them a good shaking out. This alone helps release a good deal of dirt and debris. Then, bring them back inside and vacuum.
