Organizing Challenge Conquer 5 mini-challenges in 7 days…go! There are 7 days in the coming week and only 5 mini-challenges to conquer. Can you get them done? Of course you can! Here goes… 1. Consider leaving. If you’re no longer reading subscription email from a store you used to purchase from in the past, consider un-subscribing from that mailing. No sense in cluttering your inbox with things you don’t need. 2. Start slow with vegetable gardening. If you’ve never done a vegetable garden before, choose just one or two veggies to start. In fact, try your hand first at container gardening, before you begin ripping up your yard. Make sure it’s something you enjoy doing. 3. Get up earlier. Go to bed earlier tonight, and try to get up earlier in the morning...even 30 minutes makes a huge difference. The extra time you gain in the morning could be highly productive for you…plus, you won’t feel as rushed. 4. Weed out your desk drawer…at home and the office.  Remove everything from desk drawers and weed out unnecessary things like pens that don’t write, scraps of paper, old take-out menus and the like. Wash out the drawers with a wet rag. Return items back into the drawer, separating “categories” with plastic divider trays. 5. Do a 20-minute pick up. Schedule a “20-minute pick-up” tonight. Set a timer to sound an alarm in 20 minutes. While on the clock, all family members are responsible for putting away their belongings from the main family areas like the living room, television room, and kitchen.
