How is everyone doing with meal planning especially with all the kids headed back to school?

Last night, I made marinaded pork chops with grilled pineapple and a green bean casserole (fresh garden green beans) and tonight will be leftovers.

This is something that I am going to start doing. I need to re-arrange my upstairs freezer so that I can put this weeks meal items in. I think that I want to do a pasta night, crockpot night and think of other items as well.

Need to come up with some plan in my Home Management Binder and try and stick with it. Being a mom that also runs a business with the husband 7 days a week it is hard to balance it all but I need to start doing this.

Need to do another freezer check on what it is in as I did that 2 weeks ago but my list never gets updated when something comes out of the freezer.

@mother christmas we post our freezer inventory on the fridge and have a pen on a magnet there to cross things off. DH does the cooking so he keeps it up to date. The key is to update it when you add to and take out of the freeezer.

I do the same as Frugal. I keep all of my meal stuff, meat etc in the big freezer in the garage so it's not a problem with appearance.
