You seem to be doing really well Cindy along with treating yourself to a trip (did you go alone?)

Yes I knew I wanted to go and this sounds bad but I really didn't want to deal with anyone. I need to be away from everyone.

Yes this has been such a busy week. Yesteday I finished baking the cookies and made the dip. Worked on getting all the surgey forms filled out. Tided up the house a little.

On the way to the watch party I voted and got the plexi glass cutter. It was only $4. Now if I can just get it done.

This morning I went to my Optimist meeting and when I got home I did three loads of laundry. I discovered this morningI was out of clean cool clothes. Then I did a tone of errands like mail two books back etc.

This evening we had a family get together and I got to see a cousin from L.A. I took parents and it was nice. They were nice and behaved themselves and didn't complain once. Sure wish it would last.

Tomorrow I have to buuy fireworks and iron. I'm to tired tonight. I am going to try and meet a friend for lunch. Then we have a conert at church. It's suppose to 105 again tomorrow so it's to hot to paint. I'll paint again when I don't have anything in the evening to do.

Ok I'm going to go put my feet up.

Cindy

No, it doesn't sound awful wanting to be alone. We all need some time alone.

Good luck with the frame glass cutting.

Love when errands get done! Bet you felt good after that!

Happy with shredding some papers to put out with the trash cans. Been on my list for awhile. Also finished up another shelf in the pantry, and have some bags of food to donate this weekend!

Cindy, you did well to take some time off for yourself. If you do not care of your needs, no one else will.

Today I am finally changing my bedding from winter sheets to summer sheets! It's been such a chilly wet spring for us. We finally found some heat. Therefore my ROTM project for today is washing, drying and folding the winter sheets and remaking my bed with summer sheets.

Used I'll be happy to send some of our heat. We have more than we need or want.

The plexi glass cut great and it's framed in the room. I love it. It's hot pink Flamgoos. My DD is going to make so much fun of it.

I got the fireworks. The ones for the 4th are arranded in a container on the dining table as the center piece. Others are going to be shot off tonight along with five other families. Baking beans to take tonight.

DS1's birthday party was today. I wnt and vacum DD's house for her yesterday and we made Mickey Mouse cup cakes. They are so cute. The party was fun. Lot's of 3 year olds running around and some babies thrown in. (Parents stayed with the kids)

I was getting a little upset with the othere grandma because she gets pushy but she did back down. Trust me I CAN take her out if needed. She trys to take over. She means well is what I keep telling myself.

Tonight is the families big firworks. We blow everything up we can find and then some but what do you expect when you have boys and me involed? It's our time of the year.

Tomorrow I need to clean the house but I'm also going to take it easy. I've had so much this week. I want a week there isn't as much to day.

Cindy:
Please be careful with the fireworks. My town is posting a $500 fine should you use any! Everything is so dry some towns are postponing and canceling the fireworks. Some do them over water, so those should be okay.

The cupcakes sound cute! Glad you were able to help out. It's tiring being a grandma sometimes isn't it? Best job in the world, after being a mom!

The weather here is not condusive to working so I am only doing the minium and taking it as easy as I can. Did a load of laundry yesterday also.
