First two times were not too bad but the last two were downpours.

I spent some serious time this morning cleaning the bike and putting new tires on it

Load of clothes in the dryer and washer

Spent some time sitting with my bf

Had bad news this morning, needed support. I contacted a cousin; will be meeting her at the end of the month, emailed my DSis and a co-worker plus chatted with DD. Feeling some what better, at least I don't feel like throwing up anymore. Damned procrastination, with the bad news on top made me go crazy in my head! I'm trying to be pro active in what I can to feel more in control (papers, magazines, stuff laying around for nothing, crazy the things I'm letting go!) anyways, thanks for the vent.

Bubblegum, so sorry to hear that you have had bad news that has really affected you deeply, by the sound of your reaction.

I sometimes think of the story of the old man who was so cheerful in trouble and when asked why, he said, "it says in the Bible that it came to pass, but it never says that it came to stay"!

Hope things will work out for the best and that you will soon be able to feel positive.

Praying for you. (((( HUGS ))))

BB, {{{{Hugs}}}} sorry to hear you've had bad news that has upset you badly. We hope when the information settles, it will help you cope with the new challenge. I've found it helpful to go for a walk or wash the floor, anything physical to lower emotional distress giving time to let coping devices take hold.
prayers going your way

Hugs bubblegum! Hope you can find ways to cope with the situation.

Fun day, took DS to the lake to walk around, ride his scooter, and feed the ducks/geese/swans. Made jello pudding pops, stopped by the craft store to pick up another popsicle mold set, then grocery store for a few essentials. Back home for a nap for all. DH able to mow/edge the front/back yards, grill dinner for us, and convert DS' crib into a big boy bed. Made homemade chicken nuggets for DS. Vacuumed DS' room and have alot of clothing in there to go through. Evening walk to the grocery store to pick up item for dessert which we had after dinner.

Have to prioritize and make a to-do list first thing at work tmorrow....have procrastinated on several deadlines/projects.

Bubblegum: So sorry to hear about the bad news. Stay strong. (((HUGS)))

Today was a scorcher of a day - temps. of 106F and high humidity. It was around 90 inside the house (I've no a/c).

Productivity today included 5 loads of laundry, grocery shopping, watering the back garden, sweeping and mopping, running the dish washer and cleaning the kitchen.

Off to put away some of the laundry before going to bed.

Bubblegum - Big huggies from across the water. I hope it all gets sorted out for you quickly.

Waterlady - I do hope it's finished soon.

Today I've gone a bit bonkers, I think its probably sleep deprivation, I was up to the early hours watching the Olympic closing ceremony - it was well worth it. I must admit I do miss it but I am glad I can get back to relative normality for two weeks and then the Paralympics start smile

I got one load of washing from last night out to dry, took the dog for a walk, cut back the budleia/ash tree again and fed the fish. The back garden is like a jungle again.

I then phoned a neighbour who likes to be kept up today with Dads situation as shes not well herself. I never know when shes about so it's easier to phone then call round.

Then I cleared the floor of the bedroom again, moved the pc desk up in front the wardrobe, so tomorrow I can start clearing the corner for it to go in. Its full of books, folders, books and more books.

I'm going to sort the ironing, and then once that load is dry and get that ironed so my brother can get them back to Dad. My father never likes to have lots of clothes, and to be honest they looked like they hadn't been used anyway but I washed them just in case.

Yep this afternoon I am going to rest major league and no doubt have a nap, as I had to be up at 6am this morning to put the rubbish, recycling out for collection.
