Frugal, that's so funny you say that. Even though it may seem insignificant, I always use our master bathroom instead of the hall (closer) bathroom since I have to walk further to get there. 1/4 mi is excellent!

I didn't climb the stairs again, until today. I did the 2 flights again, and counted the steps: 48 steps, total (4 sets of 12 steps, each). The knees held up OK! smile

Glad your knees felt ok!

I didn't ride yesterday because I've been doing a lot of heavy lifting and moving of the marble and I was wiped out. Plus, it was over 100º. Even with the ac at 80 which is the lowest I ever put it, it wasn't bike riding time. :-) Nice excuses, huh?

I did do 5.5 mi the night before.

Well, took a couple of days off from work, to have an extended weekend, so no stair climbing until next week. Will try to get in a couple of walks over the weekend, instead.

Did my 5 mi yesterday. Some days it's easy and some days, I have to fight through it. Last night I definitely had to fight through. I'm really seeing results though so that is very motivating.

After getting rained on 4 times on my long ride Saturday, I couldn't bear the thought of it happening yesterday so I cancelled my own ride. I am headed out now for a hilly 25 miles!

Okay, had a bad week, too much going on and didn't ride for an entire week. UGH. Got back on yesterday and did 2 mi. Wasn't great but it's a new start.
