Washed out the last fridge produce drawer and underneath last night. It was pretty nasty!

This am, walked the dogs, cleared off guest room desk and polished down along with side table. Stuff still on the bed though. Got in a cooking mood and made 2 ham/cheese quiches, also a cinnamon roll biscuits, added fruits and we all went over to IL's house to surprise them with a bday brunch. Got two loads of laundry washed and dried, just need to fold another with a load of towels from the other day. Back home where DH and I tackled organizing the garage. Hosed off the rest of the dirty stuff. Got alot done and had some squabbles in the mix as I'm pretty territorial about my stuff! Have about 1/2 dozen boxes of my stuff I need to go through and DH put all his stuff on the desk to go through. We're almost there! Had a box of my piano books from my childhood that I just unpacked into the piano bench. Still have to clean off the bookshelf in there and organize but that can wait till later. Going to go through another box.

Pic of DH's finished garage shelf project. Lots of stuff was just placed there until we can figure out the best configuration. Have 5 totes that were gifted to us that I think I will use for DS' outgrown clothing. That is a project for another day (or several). Had created a clothing inventory and entered in several sizes of DS' outgrown clothing, but then we lost it all when the last computer died. Ugh.

Hawtness, you didn't mention son's age but I thought I'd mention that I found bribery a very effective tool. It's really difficult to get teen boys to take responsibilities and deadlines seriously. In my experience, they seem to feel that stuff is for other people.

Well, here I am, working on my dream house.... I went to Home Hardware today to buy a tool to scrape the foam that was glued down under the carpet in 2 bedrooms. I had an old tool and thought they must have come out with something new and more efficient. The guy there gave me a wonderful idea; so I'm now using an ice breaker. It has a long handle so no more scraping on my knees and it works soooo much better. I got quite a bit done after supper. Today was too hot to work. I snoozed this afternoon. After supper, DH and I went to the park where the air is so much cooler and when we got back home, I got into gear. I went to walk my dog first and then tackeled the floor in our bedroom.

Waterlady, congrats on not smoking. If I could do it, anybody can. In a few days I will have been smoke free for 4 months. I did it with the pill Champix.

Waterlady - thanks for the support I need it!

I would so love a garage, it makes things so much easier. We have no extra space here so it is really hard to just about do anything decluttering or decorating related. If I had a garage I could atleast move stuff out there and give me time to go through it all and sell it, here there just isn't the space.

Up early again but I don't think Ive achieved that much:

1. Dog walk
2. I put all my office wear from the closet into a black sack to go in the loft. I kept out one suit and blouse just incase I need it. I don't want to wear now and I guess I could get rid of it, but I don't have the money to get anything new if I'm forced back to work by ATOS.
3. Got the fish fed, and found one dead, it had something wrong with its gil, hopefully it wont spread to the others.
4. Recieved a new gadget and I still can't figure it out an hours later. I'm usually pretty good with gadgets but the manual is just geek central which is really annoying. I wish they would get with the programme and simplify manuals.

Keith got Dad's mobile phone up and running so had a call from him yesterday. His starting to get better as his started to cause chaos on the ward, and wants to discharge himself etc. I had already warned the medics to what he was like so hopefully he wont be too much of a problem.

I've been watching a lot of Olympics while resting. We just won our first gold in the womens rowing yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa!
