Boy, you gals are doing so much and so well! Keep up the inspiration for me. DGS is over and today we start the last of the basement or Room of the Years, as I named it the other day.
This should do it this week, and then serious tossing and donations being done when I am alone (papers that need shredding, projects I may not want to do now, etc.).

We shall see.

Diana, can't wait for the day I can say my garage is done, maybe soon. It's been Room of the Decade for me, ROFL!!

Fleur, your posts tire me out, LOL!

Purdy good idea to get that all done before Dad gets home.

BBgum, you are progressing quickly it sounds and you even have reward time in the park. That's encouraging me!

Karen, I caught some of the Olympics yesterday.

Laura came over yesterday and my DGF came down also. We ate and hung out on the deck for a few hours. DGF made a zucchini bread/pie/casserole that was pretty tasty. I cooked up a lot of the fresh veggies I got from the roadstand.

Was able to hang out the clothes to dry, the sun stayed out long enough. Closest laundromat is 10 miles so that wasn't an option.

Don't have much planned for today, so far, I have no work so I should work on a project.

Well did some babysteps in the basement, and craft room. So nice to have young legs to do the ups and downs and carrying.
Brought up an old file along with the contents and sorted thru and tossed some books and papers. The file and two large craft books are tossed so far.

Got all my punches in one area, and emptied a couple more bins.
YEA.

Wow, y'all are very busy! Just reading through the last few pages here made me tired, lol!

So far today I've folded laundry, got the kiddo off to camp and come to work (where I have a serious case of the Monday busies). After work I need to:

Put the dishes in the dishwasher away
Reboot the laundry
Start on my branch checklist
Cook dinner
Sweep and mop the kitchen and bathroom
Vacuum
Yell at son to tidy up his disaster...I mean...bedroom

I'll update later if I get ANY of this accomplished or not. Getting online to update will be my treat for accomplishing something.

Great job all....decided to do a day trip to local fun park. Did all dirty dishes and packed up the cooler, fishing stuff. Spent a few hrs out there and had a blast, DH and DS caught two tiny fish so that was fun. Did a local farmers market run for specific items that were not there, so hit up the grocery store for a run and picked up FIL afterwards. DH made chicken legs and corn on the grill and we had my key lime pie for dessert.

Gotta get some stuff done around the house tonight after getting DS to bed. Laundry, start picking up clutter around the house bc we have a houseguest next Sun. for a few nights.

Work was too early this morning the alarm went off at 6:00 and I woke in a panic! what is that noise!! 2 weeks of vacation and the last working evenings (i.e. not having to use the alarm!) used the delay function, thought I'd have 5 minutes but woke up in a panic a second time as if it had been 30 seconds! got up, my heart couldn't take anymore crazy

Work was fun, we went to the public pool, kids had fun and it was way more fun for me to float around on such a hot day! Yeah loved being paid to swim around all afternoon! Had packed my workout clothes and went straight to DGF's house for another training session, did 45 minutes. Will weight and measure myself again on the first of the month, let's hope there is progress to report.

DD was coming over for supper but DM called and invited us, so we met there. DSis and my DNiece where there also, had a nice visit. Going to bed now, wake up time for tomorrow is 5:30...

Well, four out of seven isn't too bad considering I got sidetracked by stabbing myself in the foot with a dropped knife when I was putting dishes away. Boo! But, got the laundry rebooted, in fact, got three loads done, dishes, dinner and yelled at the kid and he cleaned his room. Oh well, it's better then nothing.

This morning I was awake at 6.30 so I did a little decluttering of my chest-of-drawers and came up with a black bag of stuff. I'm not sure if they will go in the loft to see if I need any of them later and then if not touched can go to the charity shop.

After the dog walk I fed the fish, put a load of washing on, prepped the lunch and then started on the paperwork. I've got rid of 3 carrier bags full of paper and one cardboard box. I still have a further 4 boxes to go through but I am determind to get it down. A lot of the contents are unfinished projects, so I will definately need somewhere for these to go so I can finish them off.

Does anyone know if I wrap the clothes in acid free paper is it ok to go in a normal box or does that have to be acid free as well. It's for a brides maid dress I wore when I was 4, and I'm in my 40's now and it's in excellent knick at the moment so I don't want it to deteriate. I guess I could just keep it hanging in its bag in the wardrobe but that means one less hanger for me to use. I cannot believe how expensive acid free boxes are, the cheapest here ins £20 plus.

Diana, you inspired me to get back into the garage.

Hawtmess, Glad you are joining us here! You did accomplish a lot, WOOO HOOOO, sorry about the knife!

Fleur, love how you pick up and go! Been trying to "let" myself do that lately, summer is so short.

Purdy, you go girl!! Can't help on the paper question.

I had no work yesterday so went in the basement as I have some (new) paint and brushes from mom's to put away. I need a good hour down there to straighten things out again.

Then I worked in the garage, I went through 3 bins I brought over from the storage locker and one large box. Thinned out two bins.

Got the big box emptied, and into a small bin for DD's items she wanted from mom's, and marked it. Everything is in bubble wrap and bins, I never want another piece of paper or cardboard in my garage again!!

Made Tinytina's lasagna while waiting for Laura to come over. We had to give Finn a bath, he looks soooo nice today!

Then colored Laura's hair, I can't find my color again, I have to drive to the nearest city to get it, darn. I may have to change color, I desperately need a touch up.

The ants are back, so sprayed the yard again. They are going over to my neighbors, so sprayed the property line.

Today I would like to get back in the garage for at least an hour. I still haven't had a cigarette (since Friday) so I need to keep busy.

Waterlady, I am so glad I don't have a garage...it'd be a constant headache if I did. Have you considered burning it down? lol!

I tried to be productive this morning but I had contractors in the house assessing the energy effeciency and eventually they had to do the blow test so I had to leave. But I got the hallways cleared of laundry and vaccumed and collected all the trash in the house to get to the landfill. Now I'm at work diligently planning my evening cleaning and organizing activities around my tuesday night tv schedule. So far I know I need to do the following:

Clean out the fridge (something stinks)
reboot laundry
load dishwasher and run it
set oven to a clean cycle
sweep and mop kitchen/diningroom since I didn't get to it last night
start my branch for the master bedroom, maybe I'll do some of it before I go to bed tonight.
