Didn't feel like posting at the weekend. I was up late and changed the bed and washed the sheets. We had lunch out and ran some errands. Did some sewing, later. I altered the straps on a dress, and finally took the filling out of the rogue duvet and filled two cushions, which I then sewed the opening by hand while watching TV.
I turned the duvet fabric inside out afterwards and put it in the drier on cold for a few minutes, then repositioned it. I did this until all of the fine stuff had been removed. I'm going to use this cover to encase a quilt batt, which I will probably tie. Have to measure it and buy the batt. The fabric is really good, quite heavy, though. It will make a good extra cover in winter.
Yesterday after I got back from mass, DH and I went to a local "Fun Day" and had hamburgers for lunch as well as enjoying the events.
Too hot again today (35°C), and very humid, but I got two loads of laundry on the line and went to church with my friend, did some bathroom cleaning, put away some suitcases in DH's closet, read and answered e-mails.

Bushlady: WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO great going! You did a ton of work, and also had fun. Perfect day!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Today: Routines and ETEing Class/Pick up friend Home Hopefully a tiny babystep downstairs Crafting
Am happy with the progress Dgs and I made yesterday. The humidity was high, so I had to limit my activity, but am satisfied with what we accomplished. Have cancelled my outside projects for Wed/Thurs so we can complete all I had planned on doing, and he can help me load up the car for donations, etc. Nice having the company for meals.
My headache turned out to be more than a headache, so I was out for the count... I did get rid of it though  Today, we got our A/C fixed (bandaided anyway) and the girls had their swim lessons. Have a bit of time to swap out the laundry, water flowers and have some lunch before going to rehearsal. I think it might be my kidney that's acting up ~ so I need to stay hydrated... other than that I'm playing it low key today. DD2 (not in the play) went to DGM's so I'll take my book and maybe my lounge chair and read under a tree at the park. (summer theatre is in a park) Have a great day everyone!
Maureen, you take care of yourself! And as for "pulling a Bless" - they do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, don't they?  Bushlady: I like how you plan to reuse/recycle the duvet.  I did everything on my list, yesterday, which is nice. JDIs for today: - Pharmacy- Bank- Photocopy document- Post Office - Pay bills - Other paperwork
