Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna

Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna
Ingredients: 2 eggs 15 oz. container Ricotta cheese 1 cup cottage cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley 2 cups diced, cooked ham 2 cups diced, cooked chicken 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 jar creamy garlic Alfredo sauce (16 oz.) 6 uncooked lasagna noodles (oven ready) 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 16 Swiss cheese slices 2 TBSP chopped fresh parsley
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs in a medium bowl. Stir in ricotta, cottage, and parmesan cheeses. Add 1/4 cup chopped parsley. Set aside.
In a different bowl, mix together diced chicken and ham, garlic powder, and Alfredo sauce.
Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13 baking dish.
Layer as follows: 3 lasagna noodles, half of cheese mixture, half of remaining meat sauce, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 8 swiss cheese slices Repeat layers: 3 lasagna noodles, half of cheese mixture, half of remaining meat sauce, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 8 swiss cheese slices.
Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with 2 TBSP of chopped parsley. Set oven to broil and return pan to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is browned. Let stand 10 - 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Freezing Directions: Prepare as above but do not bake. Cover with foil, seal, label, and freeze. To serve: remove from freezer, bake from frozen, covered for 2 hours or until heated through. Set oven to broil and return pan to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is browned. Let stand 10 - 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

hi Tina, I made this sans egg in the crockpot 1st thing Sunday AM as we were away all day. [It's been so hot here I've not used the oven all July]. It got raves, thank you
