WL: prayers and best wishes and other words going your way...a-n-y-thing to get you to stop smoking. I know that you are wise enough and strong enough to give yourself positive messages about how wonderful it feels to stop giving the government a whack of money so that you can stand outside and burn up $$$$ wrapped in paper with a tiny bit of chemically soaked, chipped leaf that causes cancer, makes your hair and clothes smell bad, gives lines to your face etc.

Kudos to you for taking a step forward and going for laser treatment.

Had a great time with the crochet ladies, and the pot luck luncheon. The hostess supplied the entre and drinks.

Tomorrow they are coming here for UFP, and will be sadly disappointed with the fare here! LOL

Did my ETEing this morning, and have some more to do after dinner. It is horribly humid and hot again!

Thanks everyone for the support! I laid out my last $20 tonight for two packs of smokes.

I will surrender what is left over to them tomorrow at the laser place.

I am so scared it won't work this time, how silly is that!!!

OK, so after this weekend, non=smoking me will be able to afford a hair cut! Two days later, I can afford a new pair of jeans.

With cigs @ $9 a pack here ($13 in NYC) I should see a big difference in my Cash FLow. Funny, I can't pay my bills, but I can certainly find the money to afford this disgusting habit.

Waterlady - good luck

Jodi - Just read about your scary incident glad you reported it.

Bubblegum - You are more than welcome hun and I hear you on the not ready to go through it again. Lost my nan last year to it awful experience I never want to repeat. Thinking of you and your mum and hoping that treatment kicks the cancers butt.

After our picnic I lazed about chatting to the neighbors while our boys played so no productivity from me today.

Didn't get to work today, went to pick up my young helper and he and his sister got into a terrible nasty fight.

This is my DGF's kids, she just remarried three years ago after a long courtship and the marriage has ended. I love these children so much, they were my neighbors when I lived on the mountain.

I hope he will be ready tomorrow morning, it's a long story, but I am so worried about them.

Came home, had a long talk with other DGF who is in a really precarious job, she discovered. Drama never ends here!!!!

Took out my steamer and steamed the floors, steamed the couches quickly and two area rugs. Trying to get rid of the dog/smoke smell for tomorrow's smoke ending session. Looking forward to seeing DD.

Cut up zucchini, oiled and garlic'd it and put it on the grill with peppers and onions. When it was done, major severe storms hit within minutes, Laura and Mary left and I was all alone scared out of my wits... I hate t-storms!!!!

Still some rumbling in the distance, I need a shower and a hair wash so I can work early in the am.

Emptied the box with the H/H items, nostalgic stuff from mom, I washed it and will have to make a decision tomorrow, I just can't keep it here. It's so hard.

At 8.12 this morning across the country it was bell ringing time to welcome the Olympics, so yes me and the dog did that. He wasn't quite sure why Mummy was ringing a hand bell while walking round the house but I enjoyed it.

I watched a channel 4 programme on a hoarder and that really helped me on the road to a committed decision to be organised and neat. I'm 90% there, so I'm going to start off today.

Had the roofer in yesterday and thats all fixed and taken a wod of money out my bank account, at least I don't have to worry about that any more.

I want to finish Dads room today and start on my decluttering.

I'm getting so excited with the Olympics. The torch is being rowed up the Thames from Hampton court as we speak, on the Queens Barge. I can't wait until tonight for the opening ceremony but the Football has already started and the Archery starts at the Oval Cricket Ground today. Oh I can't wait.

I too am excited Purdy. Thanks for ringing your bell!

I know, those hoarding shows motivate one don't they?

How is Dad doing? It is nice you can get some decluttering and organizing done while he is in the facility.

Just setting up for my UFP group today.

Waterlady, you are strong, having a firm mind to stop is 90% of the battle (so please get rid of the negative thinking) you can do this! Nice going with the planned rewards! I thought Cyd summed it up real well.

Slept another 9 hours, but having difficulties to start my morning. I got dressed though, feeling the burn from yesterday's workout (loving it!) not sure what to have for breakfast as I bought my favorite cheese but should watch my calorie intake... I like the cereal I got too so will go with the sensible choice wink and have a small snack later on. Have a co worker who lost over 60 lbs, carried it in the thighs and butt, literally melted away she looks so youthful, I'm more committed than ever to lose this weight (finally).

Will be back later with real progress!
