Most can be processed with olive oil and frozen in ice cube trays. What herbs do you have?

I have a question about freezing basil. How would I go about that?

Tina, I use a food processor or blender. Chop basil and add to processor, drizzle in olive oil until you have a wet paste. You can then freeze this in ice cube trays or small baggies. You can also make full-on pesto by adding garlic and pine nuts as well.

Kimberly, I chop my basil and put it in water in ice cube trays, then pop them out in a ziploc to freeze. Great to just drop in sauces, etc.

I never used the oil method, does it freeze like water, (duh?) LOL
