Doing fine. Just have to eat soft foods for a week, and if I loose some weight that would be wonderful! No pain...just swelling.
Got all the errands done and am doing a few things around the house in preparing for my group tomorrow afternoon.

Diana - I hope you feel better! Waterlady - Sinus infections are a nightmare aren't they? Thankfully the antibiotics are working now. Diana - I have two days left in school with the kids and I foresee I will be tearful next week. I start at DS's school in September rather than rushing between the two schools, so the goodbyes will be final apart from any chance encounters I have when I am around the neighborhood and shops. So I have been a bit out of it this week due to the chest and sinus infection. Tuesday I did go to my friends son's birthday party, but that was all I did. Wednesday I went on a trip with school which was a lot of fun. We went to a space exhibition centre, and the only was it was a 1 1/2 hour journey so as you can imagine the kids became bored, but we got through it In the evening I went to my cousins for a muckerteers meeting (female relatives get together). Today I have done some branch work, a load of laundry, and wiped the surfaces in the living room. I have also visited my granddad. It is my grandparents anniversary and understandably birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas is hard still for him. Although 15 months after losing her he is coping a lot better than he was bless him. I am out tomorrow all day catching up with friends and Saturday I am at a wedding. Enjoy your weekend all!

Rest up dinaro & Karen!
Temps in the 70's today...perfect weather. Woke up too early bc I forgot to turn off my work alarm, decided to watch another episode of the bachelorette, promptly fell back asleep until quarter to 9, unheard of. Had rough dreams of my teeth falling out...stressful. Switched a rubbermaid's container full of out of season shoes to a suitcase and using the container now for DS' clothing for upcoming seasons. Threw away my old soccer shoes (haven't played in 5 yrs!). Put away clean dishes, washed dirty ones, cleaned kitchen sink. Went on a hike to local park with the family and one of the dogs. Did alot of nothing this afternoon...internet surfing, watched some more tv, took a late nap. Making salmon, broccoli for dinner. Hoping to get some more done today/tmorrow.

Purdy, don't push yourself if you aren't feeling good. It can all wait till your feeling better!
Diana, ouch, oral surgery, hope you are following Dr's orders!
Wendy, those early morning wood runs every day could be very tiring, but free wood was always a good thing when I heated with wood.
Karen, wow, 15 months already. (((Hugs)))
Fleur, so busy as usual!
Ray came!! Finally someone showed when they were supposed to!
He fixed the beam so now I can close the garage door. We temporarily fixed the other door that is almost falling apart. I will paint it this weekend so it blends in. He hooked up the power that was ripped out years ago when the tree fell on my house, so I now have power again in there.
We discussed the attic conversion to more living space, my ideas are fine, what I want to do up there is definitely workable. And a lot of it I can do myself before he would come and finish it off.
We measured the kitchen countertops, he will replace them in the fall. Also measured the garage roof for replacement, that's also a fall project. I had such a list of questions for him that we went over, I felt so good to get his advice on how to tackle the projects.
Got a load of laundry done, but couldn't hang it as he was working on the garage and had to take the line down, so I will hang it as soon as I sign off here.
Got some work phone calls made. Mary locked herself out of the house so I had to bring over a ladder so she could climb in the bathroom window. She had a key made later to leave here in case it happens again! Later she came over with the baby and some salmon cakes and Laura came too. We visited on the deck while the baby played in the sprinkler.
I have some bills to pay out of town today, and noticed there are 3 garage sales on the way. Maybe I'll stop at a few, but I really don't need a thing.

Waterlady: It always sounds so scarey, oral surgery, and I get all upset before, actually not in a lot of pain, just sensitive.
You found a real prize with Ray! So nice to have someone who knows what you want and hopefully are reasonable. Sounds like progress is going to be made big time at your house. Good Luck!

Oh Fleur, I remember having nightmares of my teeth falling out!! Crazy!! Another one I hate having is when I'm using the restroom and it happens to be in the middle of a large room where a lot of people are walking around!! Extremely crazy!!! LOL
Diana, Karen and Purdy, hope you gals are feeling a bit better today.
Waterlady, so glad all that work was done!! Great idea with the attic conversion.
Didn't get wood today, but did unload what we picked up yesterday. Then came in for breakfast, devotions, showered, got ready, and started tidying up a bit. DD#2 is now doing the dishes with a little of my help. DD#1 is supposed to be vacuuming. Trying to get the house in shape before the weekend hits.
We're supposed to leave in a little while to go bowling with some friends. We'll also look for some puppet supplies. All this hopefully can be done and get back before DH gets home. Want to have a nice night with him. We've all been tired this week and need to rest up for next week as it will go by extremely fast! We leave a week from today!!!
I'll let you know how it goes!! Cya!

Good job Fleur! I did that last year. I asked my DFIL if he could make me two wooden shelves that fit on either side of the cabinet. He made them so they would miss all the plumbing stuff and gave me a bit more usable storage.
Getting more stuff in line for next week. My parents called last night and there's a little change in plans. They're leaving Monday to be counselors for a Jr Camp. The cool thing was that the camp was only 5 hours from where I was going to meet them on Friday. Well, noone from their church or another one can drive the kids back to NY. So now my parents are going to drive the church kids back, then turn around and start the trip back toward KY to meet us. They now won't get to KY until Sat.
We tried changing the location of where we meet (even though we already had reservations for KY) and even thought of us girls meeting them in PA at the camp. But I can't get out of here any sooner, and even if I did, it would make us drive 14 hours to get there. I can do 12, but 14 is stretching it.
So now, the girls and I will still leave on Friday and my parents will meet up with us Sat afternoon. We'll still try to do something fun with them, then depart the next morning.
Needless to say, all that planning/talking last night, took away some planning DH and I needed to do for VBS. So when I woke up when DH did this morning, I got up so we could talk. We at least got one of my to-do things done! Plus, I love getting to chat with him, especially when he works all this overtime. Keeps us connected.
Well, I think I'm going to go back to bed. My eyes are already heavy. Cya!
