I didn't get as much done yesterday as I had hoped. Oh well, today is a new day!

I went shopping (as planned) - and I did a baby step in my sewing room.

Am home now. Dental surgery went well, and hopefully when the meds wear off it won't be too bad. Anyhow, I was told to rest, take meds, keep ice off and on, to keep the swelling down.
Going to take it easy now.

thanks Bless, I was a good gal and put ice packs, on and off all evening. Have to say not in a lot of pain. TYG! Slept well through the night so other than some swelling, so far so good today. Still not going to do a declutter marathon, just a few odds and ends.

Diana, glad to hear that you are not in too much pain. Hopefully the swelling will go down soon. Continue to take it easy for another day or two.

Yesterday DS and I made considerable progress with the puppy fence. I didn't get much else done but that's ok.

Now for today my concentration is on my sewing project. I'm making a second dress for my Mom. So far I have rearranged the junk in the sewing room enough that I can get at my sewing table and the sewing machine In the process I found all the pattern pieces that I'm going to need. Next step - pin the pattern pieces on fabric and cut the pieces out. My goal is to be able to take the dress to Mom tomorrow. Can I work that fast?

My 2 DGSs are gone with their Mother for a few days. That sure makes a difference at meal times! They will be returning.

Well, got my list done, and am sorting more material. Want to get that finished before tomorrow afternoon. Need to take out the "treats" for the ladies and make some Peach tea to serve.
Nothing extravagant, just something to nibble on while we work, along with gabbing! So glad we are meeting, as they cancelled the knitting/crocheting at the Center for a couple of weeks.
Like how they just do whatever they wish to do without asking if we would mind! Very rude, IMHO!

Hopefully I will finish my embroidery project that I hope to finish this week,and start another one. Too hot to work with yarn lately.

My plans for today have been changed. My original plan was to not be home but I think I'll stay home because I have a puppy who is not feeling well - she has diarrhea. And my other puppy is so attached to me (and only me) that I don't want to leave him either.

I guess I'll wait until tomorrow to go and I will most likely take my pups with me. I'll be meeting up with my DDil and bringing her 2 DDs (my DGDs) home with me for a visit. I had been planning on leaving today so I could do some business at a government office that's along my route. That particular task will wait for another time. Good thing it isn't urgent.

So with staying home in mind, today I would like to -
- do more sewing on Mom's dress
- take care of puppy needs
- pack the things I will need for an overnight trip. I'm setting my van up so that I can sleep in it - nothing fancy - mainly a mattress and bedding.
- other tasks?
