WTG everyone!

Today's JDI list:
-fold and put away 1 load of laundry
-decluttered, organized, re-arranged, and inventoried kitchen cupboards
-cleaned off kitchen counters

I've been off the radar for a while, the trip to England was tough. Thank you everyone for your condolences and concern.

I'm now on the outside of everything, after being DSF's stepdaughter for nearly 60 years. His executor (my own cousin's son)and the guy's parents have never contacted me, and I only find out anything from DSF's neighbour or DSF's niece. The executor's mother (my cousin's wife) seems to be running things. DSF left things this way, and at first his family were asking me, "who are these people?"

The funeral is on July 9, but I won't be going over there, I'm still tired from the last trip.

On the plus side, DH and I had fun when DGD turned 6, and we were there for her birthday and the party the following day.

Got 3 loads of laundry done yesterday and vacuumed downstairs. The house really needs a good "fettling" as they say in the north of England. Babysteps is what it will get!

I missed the notice that your DSF had passed. Please accept my condolences. You did what any daughter, would do, be there for him and that is what was important. (((((HUGS)))))))).

Shop for decorative items needed for parade

Good news - the puppy who was sick yesterday seems fine again today.

I didn't go swimming last evening; instead I went for coffee with some friends that I have not seen for a few years.

I'm still "building" my grocery list before going shopping so I chose not to go yesterday.

For today -
- puppy training (ongoing)
- Mack-proof the deck (yup, that skinny puppy can get through the railing wherever he wants to! And since he's full grown, I can't just wait for him to grow)
- hoe garden (baby steps)
- PUPA (baby steps)
- go swimming (this SHOULD be a daily occurance, particularly for me!)
- grocery shopping?
- other tasks?

JDIs for today:

- Pay bills
- Paperwork/filing
- Laundry?

The house is spiffied up, decorations up, and I am in the midst of cooking or preparing the items to be cooked. This is when I bless Maria and all the GONers for their encouragement thru the years in getting things done, and nothing is a huge hassle like it was years ago.

- get myself removed from a mailing list

All little things, but they are cluttering up my to-do list and are easy to see off if I just make an effort!
