Bless, French toast with strawberries and bacon sounds wonderful. I'll be right over!! LOL

So far this morning, I watched DH and DD clean the kitchen, move the dining room furniture to sweep and scrub the floor, and pick up random stuff to be put away. That's my kind of productivity! laugh I sat on the couch and finished the last couple of chapters of a book while all this was going on.

We have to go to the store, then later, I am going to finish cleaning out a desk in the dining room to move it out to the garage before we move the dining room furniture back in.

Yummy breakfast Bless!

I agree Pam, reading while DH an DD working is good productivity! LOL

DS2 over to change a lightbulb in the garage (no ladders for me)
and brought in my 4th of July decorations in. Unpacked and put some up. Watered plants and embroidered. Too humid and hot to go out. So am stayig inside again.

Indeed good breakfast idea Bless!

Aaah the joy of watching others do the work! wink

Yesterday I spent part of the day in and out the pool at DGF's DM's house, out to supper and a movie. Today I went to buy the groceries and read for a while too. DD called she was sick at work and didn't want to drive home so I went and picked her up. She slept for two hours and was better, no dizziness. I also went to another store and bought a gift for DD's bday next month and for 12$ I got a set of 4 badminton rackets, net and volley ball for kids at work.

I was supposed to go for a walk with DGF but she had other stuff come up, wished she called earlier I would have gone alone, after it was too hot. Been thinking a lot about my upcoming vacation time, not so sure what to do, feeling nostalgic of the family cabin and all the fun I use to have during vacation. Now I wish I could work and not have to think about being alone. DD has two days off in the second week, so we might plan for some outings.

I'm meeting friends out tonight for dancing, haven't done that in a while.

Breakfast was lovely. smile

After that, I scrubbed the stove top (the burner liners are still soaking), dusted and vacuumed the whole house, cleaned both bathrooms, washed the bathmats, and, in between, took breaks during which I sewed. Off to water the houseplants.

Took dogs out this morning and just hung out at home. It got up to 104 degrees today! Didn't really do anything productive, but braved the heat with DS to drive to the farmers market and walk around. We got peaches, lettuce, canteloupe, and corn. Loving all the summer fruits and veggies. DH's car a/c is out, so he has been trying to troubleshoot the problem. Made him a new gnocchi recipe for dinner. Going to get DS down for the night and watch a netflix movie.

Seeded the lawn today after raking all the dead grass away. I also descaled the iron and kettle and did some filing.

When DH finished work we went to the in-laws for dinner. On returning home we caught up on some tv shows.

I am hoping to get some more done in the garden tomorrow, as I am home all day. It is 3.30am here so I better go and get some sleep. Night everyone!

Dianaro and Waterlady - Thanks. He seems to be enjoying the crumble.

I've got my dailies done, finished sorting out the accounts, and hope to do some ironing this afternoon.

I must get out and do some more pruning next week, as everything is growing like made do to our strange weather of rain and sunshine.
