I'm back after not posting for a couple days. Oh well, I guess I needed a short break!

On Sunday I didn't get to visit Mom as I had planned earlier in the day. I got there yesterday though. She's doing well. She told me that my DB and his wife were there to see her on Sunday. While it would have been nice for me to get to see them, it's much nicer for Mom to have us come see her on different days. So it all worked out for the best!

I've arranged for Mack's meds (precautionary treatments) and such to be delivered to me by way of a friend who will be making the trip for other reasons. Win-win!

For today -
- make some phone calls
- take puppies for a walk
- individual puppy training sessions
- run a few errands
- get local newspaper (oh my... I had 4 weekly papers waiting for me!)
- sweep floors
- PUPA (baby steps)
- other tasks?

Bless
Glad DD is helping you out, and please don't overdo things.

I worked on crafts while the guy was cleaning the carpets. Need 6 hours to dry, and am ready for a break from crafting!

Got 3 out of 4 on my list done last night.

DD loves the net over her bed but so does the cat. He just would not leave it alone when she was trying to get to sleep. We finally managed to shoo him out of there but at 3 a.m. she woke me up as he had managed to get it off the hook in ceiling and the whole thing came down on top of her. LOL We haven't decided yet if we are going to try again.

Tonight I need to fold the load of laundry in the dryer and run one more load to include baseball uniform once DS gets home. Also need to vacuum living room, the JDI from last night I didn't finish.

Jodi:
That is kind of funny about the cat liking the net over DDs bed, but poor DD! Hope you figure out a solution.

Decided with the noise of the carpeting machine (it was loud!)
the shredder wasn't needed. Will do that once I get the other items back in place. Did get a few kits done yesterday with cardmaking.

Today I have windowwashers coming. The opressive heat would kill me. Just taking Gypsy outside is a chore these past couple of days! Learning how to adjust to my body.

Darlene:
Glad you got away for a couple of days. It makes a big difference doesn't it? Glad you got to see mom. Did she like the dress with the pocket?

So: Routines and ETEing
Put bedroom, family room, and screened in back in order
Clean glass tops/knickknacks
Window washers

Have a great and productive day. You all inspire me so!

Dianaro, I don't know if Mom likes her dress or not. I left it with her but we'll see if she's willing to wear it. It is more comfortable for her to wear but she won't be able to take it off by herself to get ready for bed at night. Will she opt for comfort or independence? With this particular dress she can't have both.

Yesterday didn't feel like I got much done and yet I know I did.

- make some phone calls
- take puppies for a walk
- individual puppy training sessions
- run a few errands
- get local newspaper (oh my... I had 4 weekly papers waiting for me!)
- sweep floors
- PUPA (baby steps)

For today -
- puppy training (ongoing) with obedience class for Molly this evening
- PUPA (baby steps)
- make a phone call to track down stuff for Mack (apparently my friend left it at the wrong house but she described which one)
- take puppies for a walk and visit the house where Mack's stuff was left (it's about a block away from me)
- start writing out a list of "jobs" for when a certain carpenter is available to do some work for me (he guessed mid July)
- find someone who can/will install flooring in the basement
- sewing?
- other tasks?

I did all but the last item on my list, yesterday - decided to postpone sweeping/vacuuming the family room floor, as I was tired.

JDIs for today:

- Call the vet's clinic to schedule an appt. - DONE; waiting for the clinic to call back
- Sweep/vacuum family room & rest of the house - DID all but the bedrooms
- Laundry
- Water the garden

Way to go everyone!

My major item for today is to get my classroom completely packed and cleaned- I am currently about 90% done or more so I am quickly getting there and given that I am leaving a week ahead of schedule (and in 4 days), I am quite pleased with where I am in terms of school. My house is a different story tho.

The windows look wonderful. Had a coupon and was able to get all the screens done for $4.00 due to a coupon I had! YEA!

Got three of the rooms put back together so far. Going to feed the grand pups and then relax.

Did everything on my list, but 2 items were only half done:

- the vet's clinic didn't call me back, so I called them again, and they said they needed to check something and will call back and didn't. frown I will call again, tomorrow.

- I vacuumed the family room (and dusted and deep cleaned a stack of drawers), and vacuumed the living room, dining room, hallway, kitchen and 1 bathroom; but didn't do the bedrooms (might still do my bedroom before going to bed).

JDIs for tomorrow:

- Call vet's clinic again
- Grocery shop
- Sweep my bathroom - DONE

I went ahead and vacuumed my bedroom, DD's room, 3rd room and my bathroom. So that is all done. smile

Wonderful work Bless! Hopefully you can have a relaxing weekend for a change.

I am almost finished with the last two rooms put back. Did the guest room, and started in the craft room. Once the items are back in place I can go thru a few things and decide whether or not I am going to start/finish an item or not.

BTW, my windows have NEVER looked this clean!

Today:
Routines and ETEing
Work in craft room
Class
Gather up items for UFP group tomorrow
Mop Tile floors

So nice to wake up and have everything neat and clean! I am loving the branches and getting the extra work done. It is getting the house looking so nice. Need to get the decks done next project sometime.
