SUPER PRODUCTIVE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DD#1 got three loads of laundry washed, hung on the line to dry, folded and put away! DD#2 and I did the dishes. Later we hauled a coffee table, wooden chair and a small work table from the back porch to the lawn. We sanded and painted all three. Then we grabbed two end tables and another coffee table from inside and DD#2 sanded them. Now they're ready for us to paint in the AM!!

The outside furniture is painted a nice brown to match the new fabric covers for the chairs. The inside furniture will be painted black to go with other black details in the living room. I'm loving the updates!! I think I'm even going to grab my piano bench and paint that too. My dear friend made it for me before he died. The stain doesn't match the piano, but I think at least the black would look nicer. Plus it would hide the scribble attack my girls did when they were younger. May have to see if I have any padding and fabric to make it even better! Will cut off at least an inch on the legs too. It's just a tad bit too high.

Tomorrow's going to be a busy, but great day! First, DH and I will be celebrating 16 years together!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe we've been married that long! Such an awesome blessing he is in my life! Never a dull moment around here! LOL

DD#1 will be going to church for a missions work project. Excited that they're concentrating their efforts on our church. Will be nice for us members to recognize the hard work the kids did. Then the youth leaders said it would be okay for us to drop off DD#2 with them so we could go out on a date!! Yea! I didn't have a sitter lined up, so this was an unexpected blessing!!!

So, if I don't get on here, you know why!! I'm celebrating!
Cya!~

Congratulations Wendy! Hope you have a super evening out!

I had a busy day yesterday myself. Got my one job done and was back by one o'clock. Grabbed a box of papers and took it on the deck and ruthlessly went through it. There is still a small pile left. I have so much trouble with paperwork, it is so frustrating to me. The piles get reduced, but not eliminated. I'll take another baby-step at it today.

Took Finn for a small walk, then when I got back I bathed his foot and put the cream on it. It seems to be helping.

My neighbor stopped me to tell me we now have a porcupine in the area. Oh great, just what we need! Honestly, I don't live in a remote area, this is crazy!

I got a phone call that looks like I got my new mortgage! Just waiting for the paperwork to look over before I sign it and believe it!

Packed up some stuff in the Living Room, it was looking too crowded on the bookshelf. I'm thinking of painting it another color too. Still don't like the way the LR looks since I got the new TV, although I have more space.

No work today, but I made a good list of to-do's in the house. My new neighbor also asked if I could come help her hang some blinds, which I said I would do.

I bet you were a vision! Good for you! Use to work at the school for all the kids. It goes by so quickly! I agree, about woking hard and being exhausted working at a school function.
I use to say I went to work to rest! LOL

Happy anniversary! Enjoy your day trip. YOU need a day off!

Yep everyone I do enjoying giving frozen veg a good wack with the chisel and the hammer, we have tools put a side for the job.

Zonked out last night from the antibiotics and feel like I'm running a couple of hours late for some reason. The shoppings been done and put away.

Sneezing a bit today so I wonder if that is a cold or heyfever, hopefully the first.

Finally some me time! yeah! going to get my hair colored and cut for tonight's supper out at a fav restaurant. DGF is having her bday party there, will see some much loved co-workers I've been out of touch for a while, can't wait! too bad I have two 4inch scratches on my left fore arm, I look like I was in a fight! With the great weather we're having, can hardly pull off a long sleeve without looking weird!

I tried on my summer skirts yesterday evening and none fit. will look if budget and time permits, might even get a new one... I'm off!

Had a lovely luncheon and crafting session with some friends today, we did some quilting that you use a butter knife and push the material into the pre-cut foam. Had a lovely day. DS2 over for leftovers. Just heard the dishwasher beep off, so will put the dishes away later.

Wendy: Happy Anniversary. I hope you have a wonderful evening.

Today was an emotional day. Last day of school and I now have a third grader and a sixth grader. I'm proud of how well DS did considering how busy he is with baseball (his first love, LOL) and DD won numerous awards. I had to give a speech to thank two of our very active volunteers and good friends of mind as their kids are moving to middle school. Kept is short because I was ready to cry!

I am very much looking forward to the summer. The other exciting news is that DS made the All-Star team for baseball for the third year in a row and DH will be coaching.

I finished my Father's Day shopping today. I am doing my minimum of one load of laundry right now. Still need to clean off the dining room table and load the dishwasher. Then will probably relax the rest of the evening. Baseball tournament all weekend.

Wendy - Happy anniversary!

Well I have been busy this week with volunteering in school, keeping the house maintained along with laundry and baby steps in the garden project.

DS is fully recovered and he spent yesterday morning at his new school, and he will go there every Friday for the next four weeks. He loved it1 Which makes all the agonizing I went through when choosing a school worthwhile smile

Today I have my dad coming first thing, then DM and stepfather coming at lunch time then we will head over to the in laws around three. Have a fantastic weekend all!

Welcome Curious!! Glad you are back with us!

I had a burst of energy yesterday. Got the kitchen cleaned and washed the floor. Planted some more flowers. Got two loads of laundry done.

Tried to hang a new clothesline but was short of rope, so today will run to Home Depot and get another length.

Finally got the last of the coats upstairs, made the porch look so much better.

Today's to do's include another load of laundry after I hang the clothesline and work in the yard.
