Thanks for the anniversary wishes! DH and I had a great time! We went for a motorcycle ride, stopped at a book store for their pre-sale, out to dinner and a frozen yogurt place, YUM!
Now we're getting ready to pick up DD#2 and head down to the inloves! We're celebrating their anniversary (same day as ours), Father's Day and DFIL's Bday (same as Father's Day this year). Yep, we're packing it all in! We're going to go swimming, out to eat and pick up an ice cream cake!! Not all in that order!
Trying to do little things here and there to stay on top of things. Did put a third coat of paint on the furniture this morning. Cleaned the brushes.
Well, I'm going to see what else I can get done before we leave. Cya!~

So far, went to HD and got the clothesline, some weed killer and glue to fix my tail light on the truck.
Hung the line, did a load of laundry and hung it outside. New neighbor asked if I could weed whack the front of the house for her. (I'm still taking care of mom's in some crazy way! LOL)
Finally got the brush in my back lot sprayed. Want to spray the weeds in the back yard, but don't want Finn out there, so will do it later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. It just has to dry before he can walk on it.
Pulled some more weeds in the small garden, want to move some perennials out of there. Like anything else, need to make room somewhere else to put them before I dig them out.

Well, I haven't posted in "Productivity" since December. I am making some progress, so thought I would report. I began working on the junk room Memorial Day weekend on a whim. It was awful. I worked a few hours over a couple of days and the results were very pleasing, but there is still a good bit of work to be done in there. Soon after I started that project, my job took over so I haven't done anything else in there. Unfortunately, my mom's health is rapidly declining so we are trying to get some of the stuff out of her house. We weren't planning to sell, but a family friend expressed interest in the house. When they started pushing me earlier in the week to decide what I want, it caused an anxiety attack because I have no room in my house. Most of what I have is not good quality and I don't like it, so I am finally ready to get rid of my junk and replace it with Mom's nicer things. My goal is to have a place for everything. I think I can do it. Last night I worked on the bedroom and finished it up this afternoon. I am not dealing with closets or drawers, just getting surfaces cleared and I made room for a beautiful antique dresser that I may pick up tomorrow. I cleaned out a truck and was able to make room for some electronics. I found a place to display an antique chocolate set that belonged to my Great Great Grandfather who was a governor. I am feeling so much better. I will work on the master bathroom tonight. The bathroom I normally use is under construction. Back to work!

Wendy have a fantastic weekend it sounds busy, but lovely also. Waterlady - Busy as usual! Purdy - Glad you had a rest you deserve it! My allergies are terrible this week with the wind and rain moving the pollen about. Our great British summers are wonderful aren't they lol. Well we cancelled some of our plans today. So I completely gutted DS's room and rearranged it. He has sorted through his books and toys, and he is definitely a Goner baby. He has tossed 30 books and numerous toys and other items. I am one proud Goner mum We also made DH's Fathers day present so a very productive day. We are off to the in laws tomorrow for dinner and my mum an step dad are calling around ours in the morning. Enjoy the rest of your weekend all!

Thank you Diana, I had fun at the restaurant and afterwards at her parents’ house we sat and chatted on the terrace until almost two! This morning I got up around nine, showered picked up some snacks and went to the annual picnic given by the syndicate, I laughed with old colleagues, I met new people and played volley ball until it was over.
I texted DD and she came to have supper with me after her work day. I made mixed beans salad with loads of vegetables and feta cheese. It was meant as the main course (very hot today again) but ended up being the side dish as I got lobsters! Yum, with leftover sangria from yesterday evening, delish! DS had some salad, doesn't like lobster anyway, and left to meet his GF for supper, of course.
I've cleaned up the kitchen and the patio table, now winding down with a cup of green tea. Plan is to go to bed soon with light reading.

TexasGirl: So sorry about your mom not doing well. Just take a babystep an deep breathing. We are here for you if you want to vent, and support you.
Karen: Wow, a GONer kid! Love when that happens. How nice of him to help out in tossing!
Bubblgum: Glad you had a good time. Sounds lik a fun weekend.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Got some cards made today. Did some Halloween and Christmas cards! I know, I'm nuts, but started them awhile ago and want them completed and out of the way. Have some more to do tomorrow.
Also got my vacation photos in the album I purchased along with some tickets in the album. Kind of a mini scrapbooking project!
Made another cupcake hot pad/potholder.
Been moving some of the furniture out of the family room along with the accessories on the tables. Have to get things picked up and out of the way by Tues. They will move the heavier furniture, but the accessories, need to be put out of the way.
Had such a great time today! My inloves are the best! We just took our time and did what we wanted! I love days like that!
Came home, moved the painted furniture back in, had a snack while I watched tv, worked a bit more on a puzzle, chatted with family, got on here and now I'm ready to head to bed!
Please pray for DD#2 and I. We both have chigger bites. DD is worse than I am. Poor thing! Does anyone have a tried and true thing that works to stop the itching? I read finger nail polish a little while ago, but wasn't sure on it's effectiveness.
Cya later!
Today is my list-making day for the week. I'm behind on so many things, so will carry over many of them.
The skirt, well...It's an A-line and my fabric was too heavy, like denim. So it makes me look like a big BELL!? Still, it went together very quickly and I can try another with softer fabric and maybe just take this in some at the seams.
I did start sorting old photos by subject and decade so my countertop in the basement is an "organized mess".
Dianaro, your progress sounds great in your scrapping areas.
