Got a few last minute things to do tomorrow.

Congratulations Tina. You have accomplished a lot.

Carol I love the pic of the lady bugs. I painted one on a paver but yours are much cuter.

Karen I understand about the exercise and good eating at the same time. If we could all do that we would all be in great shape.

I took a half day of PTO Tue and a full day Thur. Got the final inventory for BB completed, notarized and to probate thurs. Stopped at her DSs to drop off papers. they gave me a snowglobe with an angel in it. She had a nice estate left and he was quite surprised by the amount. They deserve it. He did a lot for his parents. Glad all of that is behind me.

I made english muffins this morning and they turned out great. Put half in the freezer. They will be much better for us than the store bought ones.

Murf and I took a walk this morning in my quest to move more. I started wearing my pedometer again. I don't see myself every getting 10k steps on a daily basis. My goal now is to hit 6k 4 days a week.

DH installed the rain barrel and in one small rain yesterday we now have 50 gal of water. This will save on our water bill.

DH is getting groceries so I vacuumed and scrubbed the floors. Need to put a load of clothes away when I am done with my break here.

You are such a lovely lady. How nice to give you a snowglobe with an angel in it. Kind of says just what an angel you were to BB.

Good luck with all your walking plans...

Frugal...I used to make English muffins too. I haven't done it in years though. They were so much better than the store bought ones, IMHO.

I am happy to announce that I have completed painting the office bookcases and all of the backs are lined too. Next up in that area will be organizing the shelves. I'm NOT looking forward to that. However, I AM looking forward to having a wonderful "new" place to work when school resumes.

With the extra furniture being moved to DS' new house, we have so much space in our living room and we LOVE it! I still haven't put curtains on the big slider, but at this point it will have to wait until fall as there are no extra funds to purchase the drop cloths for what I want to do. I think it would look really neat to duplicate the curtains that cover the laundry area. I would put those on both sides and then in the middle section have lace panels so the nice sunshiney light can come in.

DD just HAD to have some glitter for one of her projects this morning so we ran over to Dollar Tree (so glad they came to our small town)so she could buy some. They had some great red kitchen towels that I purchased to make new covers for the pillows on the couch. Cheap fabric! So, another thing added to my "Goals" list. I tell you, as soon as I cross one thing off, I add another two or three or twenty. My mind just will not stop.

Still adding almost daily to the blog for my kiddos with my recipes, tips and tricks. DD keeps adding to the list of things that she wants me to put on there for them. It's actually turning out to be a neat project as now I will also have everything in one place to reference. Today, I made homemade granola bars so I took pictures of the entire process so that I can add it to the blog.

I also tried out a new recipe for a Boboli-type pizza crust. We will be having that for dinner tonight. It smells delicious so I hope that it tastes good as well. We love pizza, but would rather not have takeout or frozen.

I have only been off work for two weeks, and I've already finished reading all 4 books on my goals list, and another one to boot. I started #6 this afternoon. I'm definitely remembering to take my "me" time every day. smile

Carol:
So glad you are remembering ME time, and getting so much done.
Think the towels will make a cute pillow on the sofa....and knew you would be happy when the extra furnitue was out. Your mind opened up more and it is exciting hearing all your plans!

Tinytina:
Good going, and safe trip home.

I typed a post in here yesterday, but it went *poof* into cyberspace. My dumputer was giving me fits yesterday. So glad it seems to be better today.

I just finished up my first session Day 1 Week 1 of Dino Camp. It's all online so I don't have to go any place. And, it only lasts one hour. Can't complain about that! I am reading the Magic Tree House Book "Dinosaurs Before Dark" with them. I will read two chapters each day during the sessions and then teach a little about dinosaurs and introduce projects that they can do at home. Today's session went great! They all really enjoyed it, and didn't want the story part to end. I like that because then I know they will be back tomorrow to find out what happens next! If I could do this all day, every day, I would be one happy girl because it's the part that I absolutely love about my job, designing the lessons and then presenting them to the students.

Now, I will be putting the final touches on the decoupage portion of the music chair project.

Yesterday, I made a bright and cheery sunshine decoupage/painting for my "Art Gallery" wall in the bathroom. It turned out so good. I've got several more projects in mind for that area.

Since the bookcases in my office are all painted, lined and back in place, it's time for me to employ the 15 minute sessions to organizing the shelves. The only way I'm going to get that project done is to do the 15 minute thing because it's just something that I do not want to do. I love it when it's finished. It's all the decision making that goes along with it that I don't like. Where should this go? Where should that go? It really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me because if it doesn't work or I don't like it, I can always move it. So, what's the big deal? One of those things that my therapist told me years ago that I needed to work on. It's OK to make mistakes, just make the darn decision. crazy
