Mine too Bless. We just had lunch together, and she went to take a nap, and passed in her sleep. Was glad it was quick.

Frugal, I'm sorry about BB's death, but it must have been a comfort to you as well as to her that you were there at the last.
I think it is such a gift to be present when someone dear passes.
Not much goal work will be done for a while, I'm currently in an airport awaiting a flight. Great to have free WiFI.
I can't believe I pulled off this trip in a few hours. I decided early this morning after chatting with the hospital nurse and DSF's neighbour. I just have to see how everything unfolds when I get there. No one has any authority to get the kitchen cleaned up, it seems, but I might have a better chance of finding a professional cleaning team to do it when I get there. Thank goodness I have a booking at my usual B & B.
Well, my Brit GONer friends, I shall soon be on your side of the pond! Meanwhile, DH is on his way to Europe on a different route and airport. Crazy life, but many of you here have had some crazy times : ) Bye for now.

Bushlady: Hope you have a safe trip and are able to arrange things for your DSF's care to your satisfaction and his (although he might be opposed to losing his independence). Take care of yourself.

Bushlady, have a safe trip! Take care of everything!
A couple awesome friends came over and helped me sort, organize, and price everything for the yard sale tomorrow. I got the boxes of stuff stacked in my living room which feels overwhelming with the clutter but its only for 1 night so I will survive until than.

Frugal...Hugs to you and I'm sorry for your loss. Glad that you could be there for her. It is an awesome thing to be by someone's side as they move from one life to the next. By "awesome", I don't mean as in the modern sense of the word meaning great. I mean bringing awe because it is wonderous. There really is no way to fully describe the experience. I am so glad that I have my Summer goals list all typed out. This evening, I was feeling overwhelmed with all of the thoughts of things that I want to accomplish in the next 7 1/2 weeks. Then, I just pulled out my trusty list and picked something on it. I'm happy to announce that I crossed 3 items off the list this evening. I took in the teal shirt, the brown shirt and hemmed the blue shirt. I also did a bunch of things that weren't on the list since I was on a roll. I finished another block on my block of the month quilt, baked some muffins (that I didn't like) and a batch of chocolate chip blondies, did 3 loads of laundry, watered all the flowers, did the dishes and swept the front walkway. Oh, and watched two episodes of Grey's Anatomy on hulu. Quite the productive evening.

Carol: Wow! You were on a roll! I must have been tired - I came home from work and slept for 3 1/2 hrs!

Carol! You go girl! Isn't that the way, once you start doing something it seems to go that way!
Bless: If anyone deserves a long rest it is YOU! Just driving all you do each day is a sleep enducer, IMHO!
Had the first UFP group for this month, and then went to a craft show to support one of the gals in our group, there were three others there also, she does lovely things!
