Purdy and Bubblegum well done on the tests I hope you relax a little now!

Purdy I watched the Jubilee Regatta too. Fabulous to see so many boats on the Thames and that the love for our Queen is still as strong as ever. I can't wait to watch the rest of the events smile

Other than that we did a little shopping today and visited the in-laws.

Tomorrow I have a picnic to go to and another barbecue both Jubilee themed. I just hope the rain stops and the weather improves. Not that it will stop us celebrating we will just have to modify the plans.

So far today, I have
- Cleaned the whole house (dust/vacuum/sweep/mop/scrub)
- Worked on the office document
- Bathed the cat
- Laundry - several loads

Taking a break now, before cooking dinner - I've invited cousins over to dinner (take advantage of the clean house!)

take it easy for the end of the yr,tina. remember babysteps

good you have agardener you like, diana

enjoy yourself bless!

i only had the forum's newsletter to read on aol sat night, but that took 20 min, then read the forum in about 30 min. when i got back to juno, i had 14 new ones. i read those, then listened to both sides of a motivational tape and the movie 'the jackal'. this was different than 'the day of the jackal' (that i watched last month). anyway i watched the 1st 1 1/2 hrs of the movie and FINISHED my afghan! <go me> . i also made a grocery list, checked my stash for xmas presents (only 1 more to buy), put up the left over yarn from the xmas afghan and got down the yarn for july 4th afghan which will be my next knitting project, checked to make sure i had a spare sheet of addy labels in the desk and got out a new time sheet. i finally went to bed at 850am after reading 20 more old email.

i woke at noon, listened to 5 motivational tapes, then ran the vac in the gbr and took a bath and shaved. next i ate breaky - cream of wheat and while it cooked i made a salad to eat at 7pm and restocked the brown sugar, then read a ch in my book, fed metro his moist food for sun, restocked his dry food, the tissues in my bath, the bottled water and the paper towels. the last 1 entailed getting a new warehouse size bag full of individually wrapped paper towels out of the big bag and into the linen closet, then getting 1 roll out of it's individual wrapper and in the dispenser. in addition i ran/emptied the dw and put my 2 small afghans in to wash and dry. i got on here for 40 min and read 10 new and 10 old email, then ate my salad and turned on 60 min, but decided not to watch. then i read another 30 old email and the forum and took a break for an egg salad sandwich.

Was up early yesterday, washed my hair in the morning so I didn't have to blow dry it. Got two loads of laundry done.

Went through the clothing pile again, got most of the winter stuff away. Like you Purdy, still have to move the coats upstairs. I need some new tops this summer.

Finished washing the deck stairs off.

My new neighbor called and invited me for coffee and to meet her father. I went over for about an hour.

Planted the few things I picked up the other day. Weeded one of the gardens where I want to put some annuals. I'm so late this year with planting!

Had to treat Finn's hot spot again, he was so good even though he doesn't like what I do. Walked him up and down the block a few times.

It's cold and rainy today, I'm glad I don't have to run out this morning. Inside day for sure, hope I can get something done that will make a big visible result!!

It's June already!!??? Today all I managed was to make my list. I think I'll call my June list my "Irons List", as a list of all the Irons I have in the fire. It is quite long! I've listed each category of my life: friends, family, personal, church, etc. and all the projects along with a few baby steps for each. Then I'll divide the list by the 4 weeks.

It sounds pretty common among us GONers to be thrown off track by illnesses and unexpected calls on our time. Maybe we can all catch up some this month.

Well, two days of feeling on top of the world. Today I feel like crap. There is a big black cloud over my head and I don't know what its made of. Worse part is I feel I don't have time or shouldn't investigate why. Off to bed, tomorrow is another day I'll figure it out. Yes Jo, I think I'll play catch up this month...

Got quite a bit done today. Gave my Mom a call 1st thing and had a great conversation with her. Then got my bathroom rinsed/wiped and sprayed, bed made, 2 loads of laundry washed, dried and folded/hung & put away, ran errands this morning, got bills paid and a little bit of shopping done. Also managed to get the kitchen counters wiped down while dh was mowing. Finished up drying herbs in the dehydrator...waiting for it to cool down after the last batch finished up.

Fixed an oven baked bbq'd brisket for dinner for along with baked potato wedges, baked beans and slaw. Nothing like baking a brisket in a slow oven for 4 hours to make a really nice tender piece of meat! Yum...it was really good. I think my favorite form of bbq is brisket.

Had a little change in my schedule for med. tests. Originally had my 3 month CT scan scheduled for the 14th but having pain in my left side like a cracked rib, or damage to the soft tissue between the ribs (had that happen before & it's painful). So my oncologist scheduled a mammogram just to rule out anything there (I'm due for my annual anyway) and moved up the CT scan to the same day - the 7th. They haven't rescheduled my consult with the oncologist yet....hoping and praying to hear that there is no reason to reschedule it! I would like to know what is going on with the rib - or whatever that is, but will be happy to have nothing of note on the CT scan. It's an adventure that's for sure.

Bubblegum (((( HUGS )))) hope things settle down for you too!

{{{hugs}}} bubblegum and bonnie. i'm praying for you both to feel better soon.

after i finished reading what came in while i was on the forum and aol sun night, i restocked the cream of wheat, wetted the stone that i keep in my brown sugar(forgot to do it when i refilled it), folded the afghans and then watched the last 1 hr of 'the jackal'. next, i took a look at my bulletin board and decluttered it. i saw my tythe list and brought that up to date which entailed looking at the bottom line on my tax return, then i refilled my store brand windex bottles and added that to the grocery list. this was actually a procrastination project that i only think about when i'm cleaning. i checked the laundry stain bottle too, but it has plenty. i went to bed at 6am.

i got up at 1230pm. just in time to get ready for my dr appt. i listened to 4 short audios while i dressed, then when i got home i ate breaky at 330pm, fixed a salad for 730 lunch break and ran the vac in the mbr. except for during the vac, i listened to 3 webinars and 1 more audio short. i went to the base for cigs and must have driven thru the corner of a storm on the way home. it wasn't raining at either the base or my condo, but it DID rain while i was driving home. at least i didn't get wet. after i was back inside about 10 min it poured.

next i took a bath, ate my salad, read 3 sect of my book, called deb and did the dailies. i finally made it on here at 930. i spent 40 min reading juno, then read the forum in 20 min and took a dinner break at 1130. i had egg salad sandwiches again. i'll probably eat the last of the egg salad tue night.
