Hi Jodi, Good to have you back.

Quick note, DSF was sitting up today and although very tired he was able to talk. I didn't stay the whole time so as not to exhaust him. I hope he is feeling better tomorrow when his DS and DN arrive.

Went back to the house and can't figure out what happened to get it in such a state. He must have been really confused before he ended up on the floor. He couldn't seem to tell me quite what was going on. I made one phone call on his behalf re. the securing of the house, but still have a couple more to make. Not easy to get through on some numbers.

At least I slept better last night for the first time after 5 nights of little sleep.

Diana, yes, seems to me that DD always gets sick during finals! Yes, it is stress-related.

Bushlady, glad to hear that you had a good night's rest. Take care of yourself, so that you don't get sick due to stress.

Bushlandy, it's incredibly loving to fly across the Atlantic for your friend. Managing in a foreign country adds layers of difficulty and stress so I hope you will take extra good care of yourself, get a lot of rest and cope with one issue at a time. I figure social services are totally different in Britain and areas of responsibility are subdivided in ways we can't imagine.

I know from experience that western Canada feels like a difference country, culture and value system from the Maritime provinces. {I spent some time in St.J Nfld and had trouble understanding the accent.

List is done for today. Picked up some gifts for my uncles for Father's day and need to package and mail tomorrow.

Diana, I had to smile that you asked if I was staying in my stepfather's home. I haven't stayed in there for a few years now. It would have been nice to have that option, but right now it is all I can do to bear to go in there, thank heavens for hand sanitizer after I use the phone. My landlady from the B & B has given me some throwaway gloves to use if I need to look for anything but don't want to touch stuff. It's that bad.

I had the front door wide open this morning to try to air the smell out a little while I made a couple of phone calls. Still can't figure out what happened in there, to create such a mess of scattered things. It was always filthy but relatively well organized in the past. Now it's weird. He must have been really confused. The neighbour popped over. She can't figure it out either.

He was better today although very tired. I'm hoping he will be brighter tomorrow when his sister and niece arrive as they have a 2 1/2 hour drive.

My JDI's are the little things I keep putting off. Today it was to simply order some photos to be printed from a website. I should have done it sooner as the free photo offer expired and I had to pay for them.

Well I got one Father's Day gift purchased. Luckily it is the one I need for tomorrow evening. I could have picked up another one but thought I would find a better selection and price at the next stop and that didn't happen.

Also got DS's catcher's leggings replaced. He wore them once at the beginning of the season and a strap broke. They were very good at the store about exchanging them.

Ready for zoo trip tomorrow. Lunch is ready, just need to assemble in the morning. Clothes are laid out and umbrellas are ready.

Tomorrow will be busy with the field trip so my only JDI will be to survive and not lose track of any children!

Sorry to hear that about the house. Hoping DSF will be feeling better each day. Having sister and niece and you there will make him feel great too. At his age, it was probably hard for him to get things done. God Bless him.

Know what you mean. Sometimes there is just not enough time in the day for little things.
