GREAT going, TexasGirl, good to "see" you back!

I've not posted too much this month, but I hope to have an impressive number by the weekend.

I have been making piles again and today is the day to tackle some of them. I was at 815 prior to now and the goal is to hit 900 by day's end.

I got some large empty boxes from work and brought them home last night. Donations that halve already been posted here are finally going into boxes instead of the corner in the guest room.

this morning I added 4 pair of shoes, 6 tee shirts (good condition but faded) to the donate pile.

Thius far in the toss pile are 6 magazines a 3 inch stack of paper to shred and 13 manuals for stuff I no longer own.

Now at 847 and counting!

Went to a local club yard sale at the weekend and there has been a lot of tossing here in town! (we have an aging population). Unfortunately there didn't seem to be much buying on the second day when I went, and there were loads and loads of lovely things there. I only took 2 books home. It makes me realise how easy it is to accumulate stuff which costs a lot initially and then no one even wants it at giveaway prices!

Here's my latest toss list:

1 purse
4 flat sheets
2 fitted sheets
6 pillowcases
2 scarves
2 blouses
1 knit jacket
1 winter gabardine coat

400 + 19 = 419

Bushlady, Isn't that the truth? I'm trying to sell mom's DR chairs that were over $350/piece and I can't get a bite at $30 each.

BTW, all day I have been using your slogan here, "don't put it down, put it away". I love it!!!!
