Big storm last night, have actually slept very few hours and with a full day ahead, ugh. Going with DD to a warehouse sale, bath products, skin care, candles... need a gallon of shower gel to refill my shower dispenser, I finished last year's two weeks ago! My mini bottles of perfume are almost empty and I always like to see what new stuff they have, last year I got a difuser, mmmm smells so good!

Then work on assignment, then paid work... co-worked PM me yesterday evening, they had a terrible evening 3 out 4 got hit more than once, 4 out of the 8 kids got into fights and they had to bring in the police a supper time! Boy and we had such an easy day!! How easily moods can shift. Well I'm off, have a great day!

Still hot here in the UK until tomorrow, so I just stuck with my dailies and the dog has been asleep most of the day so no training for him.

We have two more fledglings here, who made a racket yesterday but quiet as a mouse today, so they are either asleep or flown off into our garden (a mini paradise compared to others round here).

I have done another mock English paper and only got 4 questions wrong thus passing it. I hope I do well on the day. I'm off to do some more swotting.

Did pretty good with the productivity today!
-made three phone calls
-scrubbed up a broken bird bath so DH could repair it tonight
-helped DD#2 put 3-4 loads on the line
-helped her fold most of them
-priced the homeschool books I'm getting ready to sell
-helped DH repair above mentioned bird bath
-ironed two shirts and fabric for DD#2's curtains
-created design for curtain panels
-cut out fabric for curtain panels
-ironed them again
-pinned two sets of panels
-oh, yeah, helped DDs with their schoolwork.

I now can start sewing them!!!!!!! Yipee!! I might be able to start that tonight!

Was going to finish her comforter I was going to sandwich between it still smelled like mothballs. Hate that! So we'll be washing it tomorrow and putting it out on the line.

Been a whirlwind here and now winding down. Made it back from 4 day traveling/conference and right back to work. Woke up early this morning to get the guest room decluttered for DH's friend who is staying for a few, make a breakfast item for work potluck. Got 2nd choice preschool call made to get refund, had DH pick up paperwork and ck. out the preschool DS will attend in the fall. Played and read with DS tonight and got him to bed where he is talking to his stuffed animal. Got some pics/slideshow downloading while I'm surfing the web and posting. Have to send out to a friend (took the pics over 2 months ago!). Have a 2nd set to do as well.

Over the next few days, have to get camera items together to return my camera to the store...dropped it in a fountain while on vacation (quick dip) and it has been working off and on since. Good thing I can recognize my tendency towards mis-use and I purchased a full warranty. Also have to get oil change and figure out plan for cracked windshield.

Need to get recent paperwork in order. Have a few bills to pay and get out in the mail. Unpack 2 luggages from recent trips. Big goal: clean and unclutter DS' room so we can change his crib into a big boy bed.

Going to finish this photo slideshow and go watch my mindless tv (everyone loves raymond). Have the next 3 days off to relax, get stuff done, and have fun!

Diana, I did sew two panels. I have to iron the seams down, trim the edges, then add a vertical stripe down each side. Next I'll add the backing and they should be about done. I'm making four panels in all. Then I need to decide what I'm making to create curtains for her closet. I knew I didn't have enough fabric to mimic her window curtains, but it will at least coordinate.

Not sure if I'll get to to work on them or not. I MUST go buy a bathing suit, as next week is Jr Camp and I'm a counselor for our church. Not looking forward to shopping. I usually have a hard time finding something I like. Needs to be modest and not cost an arm and a leg!

Busy as usual everyone! Well as I was home all day yesterday I was very busy. Here is what I did:

*Wiped all the surfaces down in the kitchen and living room
*Vacuumed and mopped the ground floor
*Cleaned downstairs toilet
*Cleaned the kitchen and downstairs toilet windows
*Vacuumed the stairs
*Wiped surfaces in both bedrooms
*Vacuumed both bedrooms
*Vacuumed and mopped the bathroom
*Cleaned the bathroom
*Did two loads of laundry and put them away
*Put feed and weed on the lawn

This morning I am taking it easy lol. This afternoon I am in school then we are all going to my lovely inlaws for dinner as it is DMIL's birthday. Catch you all later.

The job at the hospital is finished, and I got paid.

The new plumber is really very good but, it took ALL DAY to install a job that is at the max a 4 hour job. We were there from 9 until 6. I'm supposed to be paying him by the hour. Yikes.
I really need to come up with a better plan we can both be happy with.

Laura came over when I got home, she made quiche, I was grateful to see dinner! We sat outside and a bad storm blew in, the tree was a-blowing and I was a wreck (I'm a worry-wort) I will try calling the tree guy again today. It's really not in my budget right now, but another huge branch is dangling over my neighbors roof.

Have to run to the supplier today and have a few jobs lined up.

This morning will do a quick PUPA. My office is out of control again (how does it happen so fast?? LOL)

Woke up this morning early, seems as I'm getting better at being productive in the mornings AND liking it.

One of the kids at work is almost room bound for the next few days as a result of her latest actions. The plan is for her to work one hour on house chores, written reflections and other yucky tasks, and then get a break for 15 minutes. She was very upset because she didn't get breaks at the same moments others were thus it being not fair! She could not acknowledge it was better this way, she would get more breaks during the evening!?

Anyhow, after much debating with her yesterday I guess it stuck with me. This morning when it was time for me to work, I noticed after one hour my mind tented to wander off and took a break to eat. Again after one hour...again with the wandering... light bulb moment! Why not give myself permission to take a break and come back refreshed and ready to continue rather than lose momentum and give up altogether? This, by the way is NOT an option as I have to finish this assignment ASAP. Managed to work a little bit over 3 hours and not get bored out of my mind...

Tomorrow and Friday I'm off work, the plan is much the same, concentrated work for at least an hour then break for 15 minutes (eat, visit restroom and or chores around the apartment) I took my stuff outside as I've got the sun out back until 11:00. Felt so good to feel the warmth on my skin. I need to finish this, at least 10 hours more of work to put into this assignment and then review the one I did two weeks ago as I'm presenting it Saturday morning.

Now I'm getting ready for work, need to leave early and get a replacement battery for the laptop. Charge the battery during the night and then take the laptop outside tomorrow if weather permits, yeah!

What a fantastic day. I spent the afternoon in the school grounds with 200 children and several teachers and support staff. We had a huge picnic and afternoon of fun to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. School is now finished until the 11th of June

Straight after school we went to the in-laws and sat in their garden catching up with them our niece, and brother-in-laws. We are back home now and are relaxing before bed. Good night all!
