Well no luck working in the garden after work, as the heavens opened and we had rain off and on all night. So instead I filed some paperwork, balanced the finances, and put the laundry away. I also spoke to my granddad, two dear friends, my dad and my best friend on the phone.

Today I am home all day, so I am hoping it is a nice day so that I can get in the garden. Have a great evening all!

Good job all! Jo, love your idea of just in case notebook.

Got some stuff done today...emptied and put away 2 laundry baskets of clothes, washed our bedroom sheets and blanket, reorganized part of hanging shelf of clothes, washed dishes, made bread, wiped off kitchen countertops. Got a few stains out of wall and countertop with magic eraser. Had dh drop off mortgage ck. and income tax cks to bank while he was running errands. Went to mall tonight to walk around and let ds play!

Was at work Saturday and Sunday evening, it was difficult because we where understaffed, so many things one can do with two hands and one head. I had brunch on Mother’s day with my children and DD’s DBF. Made a big vegetable omelette with cheese, no money for anything fancy, used up what I had in the fridge. DD brought some strawberries and made me earrings made with feathers smile

I was off work today and had to JDI my school assignment, whoa! Major resistance, kept running around the apartment puttering about doing mindless chores instead of homework! Yikes. All my sewing is done, had to stop myself from starting another project. Ironing board, 2 machines and bins are back where they belong after more than two weeks. Funny how I find the motivation to do those dreaded projects when I should be doing something more important!!! Anyway kitchen is back to it's normal 'spaciness' smirk no dirty laundry left, even changed the bed sheets on DD's bed!

Called GF at work and went over there to get some needed documents, as a bonus I got encouragements from all my coworkers, saying I'm stronger than I think and how they all feel I can achieve this. At last, came back home, breathing normally again and typed, read and composed for 4 hours straight! Stopped when DS came home around ten. Still have to do two more parts and I'll be done. At least now I'm moving forward as opposed to being stuck. I think I brought this on myself; I was anticipating a freak out episode and sure brought it on!

Chatted with a co-worker on FB and they had to call the police, one kid went on a rampage after supper, throwing rocks in the basement windows. Boy did I choose a good time to not work! I was called in but thought I'd best work on my project so said no to overtime. Yay me! Mother's day is hard for some of them... Feeling bad for the rest of the group who had to cope with this agitation. Major damage control tomorrow, let’s hope he's in a better mood...

Off to bed I go got to get the creative juices flowing again tomorrow morning!

I've had a busy morning today.

As it was raining I took the dog out and then got him dry when we got home. I then blitzed the sitting room, as I'd lost one of my watches, yippeee I found it. I vaccumed under all the chairs, sofa, dusted, decluttered etc. It took me all morning, and it looks brilliant now.

I got myself a work belt with pockets to put all my cleaning supplies in, and it worked really well. I just need to get a few more bits (brushes etc) to put in there. It helped out a great deal.

I will have to put a hook up to put the belt on, Im not sure if it should go in the kitchen or not, we really dont have a cupboard where everything goes/fit in.

Just sitting back after lunch. I've still got one corner of the room todo so I might get that done this afternoon or later on in the week.

PS: Iv typed up a spread sheet with all my housework schedule devided into dailies, weeklys, monthlys and yearlys (down the side) with the individual rooms and the garden (across the top). Iv left gaps so I can write other bits in and have saved it so I can get a printed copy. I'm thinking of getting it laminated but I'm wondering if a zip lock bag would work as well.

Whew, everyone is really going strong!!

I cleaned the oven yesterday and straightened out the under sink cabinet in the kitchen. Put another load of laundry away. Took everything out of the freezer and rearranged it. Now I can safely open it! LOL.

Tossed a few items too. Today I am going to weed out the refrigerator before the garbage men come. Aside from the racoon and skunk that hits the garbage (and the occasional bear) we now have a baby fox in the neighborhood dining in our cans.

Made a batch of beef empanada's for dinner. Laura came over with burrito's and we made a salsa to go with them.

Had a long visit and when she left I went to bed.

What an exciting area you live in! Mother nature at her best.
Amazing how the animals adjusst to humans and share their food! Too sweet, except for the messes they leave!

Karen:
Sometimes we need down time. Glad you could visit with family and friends on the phone.

Fleur:
You are a tornado!

Doing well, ladies!

A good day here, did a quick top-up shop for bread and milk this morning, more tidying and cleaning and a courier arrived to collect an item that DH had sold.

Also compiled and sent an email to DDs school (they are messing us around a bit ...) so will see if that gets a reply.

Did two loads of laundry but the on-off weather is making drying tricky! Also managed one bible study and 10 mins of yoga stretching this morning.

Have a good one, ladies.

Purdy Bear, I was thinking you could put your sheets in protective pockets (you can buy those at the Dollar Store) and then use a dry marker to mark what you've done. You can then erase the dry marker to reuse your sheets. Food for thought.... wink

Party day at co-op! It's the last day of the year! Then SUMMER BREAK! Will need to sit down and make a tentative plan for the summer. Need to take a look at the books and see where we are.

Also, we're finishing up the AWANA year at co-op, so there are some things we need to do there as well. I can't wait to be able to BREATHE!!

Also looking forward to finishing some projects this summer too. Sounds like I need a Summer Master List!!

Cya~

Had the day off from work, yesterday, so, dropped DD off on campus, did the grocery shopping on the way home, came home and put away the groceries, cooked and ate brunch, did a little sewing on my patchwork quilt, took a nap, swept both bathrooms again and cleaned one shelf in the shelving unit, cleaned my bedroom a little more (wiped the window sill, dusted the bookshelves and rearranged them), swept and mopped DD's bedroom floor, swept the living room/dining area, swept the family room again, swept the kitchen again, cooked, wiped the stove top again, did the dishes, cleaned out the fridge and did more dishes, took the trash cans to the curb, picked up DD from campus.
