Good going Bless! You work hard each and every day, just driving to and from work for you and DD is a killer~Naps are good.

Tina
Good going on your list.

I went to a GFs house, and worked on some embroidery. We went out for an early dinner. She has a puppy, who can entertain one all night long. He is soooo smart!

Today is just laundry. Taking things slow.

Update from yesterday -
- help DS (if needed) as he gets ready to leave
- sewing
- see about selling some furniture to a used furniture dealer
- puppy training (ongoing) My pup is a very smart dog!
- PUPA (baby steps)

The used furniture dealer had vehicle problems and did not get here so that will have to wait for another time.

DS is on his way to his new job. Even though he's been gone for just one day, it's been harder for me to adjust to that than it was to my hubby's death. I know DS is supposed to be independent and I'm sending him off with my blessing but I've missed him all the same. I WILL be OK - I just don't know how long my adjustment is going to take.

I figured something out about my pup's negative behavior - that little girl is smart enough to know that certain actions will always get her attention. So if she's feeling ignored, she asks to go outside or she chomps down on furniture or on me. The going outside is good; the unacceptable chewing is not! Now I just need to figure out how to turn that negative stuff into positive behaviors. Am I smart enough to handle her intelligence? smile

For today -
- puppy training (ongoing)
- church
- go visit Mom

Diana, thank you for your kind words. smile Sounds like you had a fun visit with your friend. Glad to hear that you are taking it easy today. How is your leg? Swelling all gone down?

Darlene: I suppose you are missing DS being away even more because, when he was with you, his presence made your DH's absence easier to bear, and now with him away, you are feeling more lonely. (((HUGS))) Miss Molly sounds like she's a handful! laugh Ah, but you are on to her, so, I am sure you will get the upper hand.

When I wrote out my JDIs for today, I forgot to list laundry. Doing the bedding, today. 1st load washed and in the dryer. 2nd load just finished washing and is waiting for the dryer. 3rd load waiting to be washed. That's just the bedding from DD's bed! Each quilt is 1 load...

Darlene, it's early days yet. I can't imagine how hard it must be to adjust to your life without DH, but I suspect that some days it all comes up and hits you. (((((( HUGS ))))))

I love hearing about all the GONer pets! Our "pets", like our best flowers, are all wild, like the little squirrel who sits boldly on the bird feeder, and the woodpeckers who inspire me to go out and buy a 10 pack of year-round suet cakes.

This weather is crazy. Whenever it rains we get about 40 drops and then it gives up. Sent DH to water the rhubarb as it is his favourite.

Today:
Put jacket in washer - done and hung up.
Church - done
Pick up juice and chicken breasts on way home - done
Buy more suet for woodpeckers - done
Fill feeders and clean out bird baths - partly done. Waiting for humming bird liquid to cool (1/2 cup sugar to 1 cup boiling water), still have to scrub out bird baths
Some more laundry

Darlene:
Reality sets in in some strange ways. Just go with it....it is okay. You were busy with other things (TYG, I was too when my DH passed, mom had to move too!) and I feel that is the Lord's
way of helping us thru it some. ((((HUGS)))))).

Ms Molly needs some chew sticks and toys to chew on...she sounds bored and wanting your attention. Too cute.

Doing laundry and working on some UFPs.

Bless:
The foot is still swollen, and will contact the doctor on Tues. to see what to do, if it doesn't get better.

Just hemmed two pairs of pants. Guess my legs are just too short. Tomorrow I want to clean the bathroom and finish sketches. I hope to tackle a pile of recipes and coupons.

Didn't get much done today around the house but instead had a very social day (bbq/birthday party). Need to come up with a JDI list for tomorrow!

- The rest of the house cleaning (dust my bedroom, dust DD's room, sink & toilet in DD's bathroom, mop kitchen floor, dust/tidy family room)
- Paperwork/filing
- Water the garden
