Sorry about taking so long in closing the last thread.
Even though it is near the end of the month, we need more room for all our reporting on how we did this past month with our goals.

I will add my goal list later today or tomorrow.

Glad to hear you are doing so well Mary. You are always on top of things. I am sure your decision to not see Jay was what you needed to do.

Great going Bless.

i checked and found 2 more things that still had the cleaning tags on. removed those, then took a bath, emptied the dw and restocked the pepsi and water bottles. i ate my cup o noodles, then knitted 6 rows while i watched the 1st hr of 'die hard w avengeance' . after that, i got on here til 3am when i ate some cream of wheat. then i did a procrastination project.... i went thru my files for an hr and then shredded for an hr. i still have more to shred but it was getting hot and i had all ready had to dump the trash twice b/c of it. i now only have 4 more years of bank statements to shred. i used to have 11. i also shredded everything i purged from the monthly files. i replaced my razor, toothbrush and furnace filter too. i was finally finished w everything at 730am.

i woke at 1045. i scrubbed the toilet and sink in the guest bath and swept around the litter box, showered and washed my hair, then did the dailies while listening to dool. i scrubbed my combs, read 1 sect, divided the rolls into 5 ziplock bags and put 8 crab cakes in 2 more ziplock bags, then i cooked the remaining 4 crabcakes (there were 12 in the box). while they were cooking,i c/u on here, then after they cooled i put them in hm tv dinner trays w scalloped corn and carrots, ran the dw and did the last 20 min of shredding. next i fixed and ate a grilled pb j sandwich and fell asleep while listening to a webinar. i woke back up at 8, emptied the dw and reheated my crabcakes. it was GOOD!

In reality, Dianaro there are a few things that just won't happen but unfortunately much of it is non-negiotable with the end of the school year and moving.

after i posted, i watched the 2nd hr of 'die hard w a vengeance and knitted. i finished the knitted part of the last strip of my afghan. i pinned it tog and found 1 strip is 8 rows longer than the rest, so i'll have to rip them out. i decided to wait to do that. i went to bed at 130am

tue, i woke up at 1pm. i listened to 3 audios while i got ready for my appt at 230. afterwards, i smoked for 2 hrs continuously w only a 10 min break for the ash tray to cool down enough to dump. while i smoked i listened to a show on here. i scrubbed my tub, sink and toilet in the master bath and was done just in time to go to the dry cleaners. i should have known that they would be late getting my suit back b/c of the holliday. it wasn't ready, but i did drop off my coat to have the lining mended. then i went to schotsky's for a rueben sandwich. came home, read 1 sect in my book, took a bath and shaved and did the dailies. i entered the appt on the calendar for next month, did some budget work and got on here at 930pm. i got everything read then took a break for a cup o noodles. i think i've got about 3 more hrs of audio to listen to and during that, i'll probably work on my afghan.

Too bad about the last strip of your afghan, Mary. I had a similar thing happen with the blanket. One of the squares had too many sets of 3 crochet on one side and just wouldn't work to sew to the next strip. Fortunately it was the last one on that strip and sewn on only one side, so I undid that first and then undid two rounds of crochet and part of the first one round the knitted square, so I could correct the mistake.

I haven't got to that alteration project and here I am with another project lined up as well, a doll dress. Well, if they don't get done by tomorrow they will go on next month's list.

when i looked in the folder, there was only ONE audio to listen to and it was only 30 min long. after that i listened to it, i watched the last 20 min of 'die hard w a vengeance' , then a motivational tape. i ripped out 10 rows on the stripe that was too long and then reknitted the last 2 rows. i checked the other stripe to make sure that they are all 47 patterns. all that's left is sewing them tog and weaving in the loose threads. i went to bed around 5am after eating 2 snickers bars.

i got up at 745am. i started the sheets while it stormed outside. i swept and scrubbed the master bathroom floor while i waited for the lightening to pass. i went to the grocery store in the rain, then after i put the food away, i went to a local yarn shop. they had something thin enough that i can use it in place of needlepoint yarn. i had to spend almost 7$, but at least now i can finish my project.

when i got home, i watched dool, then took a bath, did the dailies, remade the bed, cleaned my earrings, picked out what i'll be wearing for the next week, ate a sandwich and read my book. i also ran and emptied the dw. i listened to a webinar, ate some rice crispys, and got on here at 530, but had connectivity issues. i did the budget work and ate some hm bean soup while i waited on hold for over an hr. it took 3 people, but i'm up and running again. i read all my juno and aol. just the forum to go. i also still have 2 webinars to listen to

What is a UPF? I made much progress on our basement, long-term projects, and short-term ones since returning to GON!
What is left will become goals for June. I have realized it is better to do big jobs in tiny chunks, rather than trying to do it all at once.

You should be pleased Karen! Just working on school items and having them done before time is great!

You cannot work if it is too warm outside. I bet your landlord is loving all the work you are doing!

Not too much added as done, but am happy with what I accomplished too.

I've been buried in end of the year school stuff this week, but I'm still here.

DF's party was wonderful! Everyone had a great time. The decorations were simple, but perfect for the occassion and the venue. Red/white checked tablecloths, red and white star balloons at each table, red/white streamers, and lots of old pictures of the birthday boy on the big cake table. The food was fabulous too! We even played Pin the Tail on the Donkey. And, best of all, DF was totally surprised when he walked in and saw all of us.

I didn't get much done in regards to household things that were on my May goals list due to my work stuff and all of DD's music performances this month. But, I only have 6 more days of work and then I'll be off for summer and have some free time to put this place in order the way I would like to.

My most pressing goals right now are work-related in that I must finish one last Dinosaur PPT, compile test scores and finish report cards. After that, I can breath a big sigh of relief and enjoy!

As soon as I got off here earlier, one of the neighbors came knocking on my door. I thought it was the cat so I had DD open it only to be blasted by this woman. Apparently, our cat is eating the food that she has been putting out for the stray and she doesn't like it. Well, excuse me, cats are opportunistic eaters - they eat where they see food. The HOA President told her not to put the food out for the strays because even HER cat was eating it too. This darn woman accused us of being too lazy to feed our cat, told me I'd better keep him inside and has threatened to tell the property manager. I told her to go right ahead. Turns out, she also reamed my DD about it yesterday, and last week, cornered someone that was coming to drop something off to me. IRKS me to no end! mad

First of all, I am the exact opposite of lazy.
Secondly, she was told NOT to leave the food out.
Third, she was rude! If she would have been nice about it, maybe I would feel differently.

Escrow is supposed to close on DS new house tomorrow so Hunter is going to be moving probably next week anyway and there will no longer be an issue, but I'm tempted to keep him here just to make her mad. whistle

So, at the very top of my June Goal List is talking with my property manager to give her a head's up about the situation. She knows I have the cat. She knows that it is temporary. But, I want her to be aware either way. I'll be going there tomorrow morning.

Carol - Some people like your neighbour will never accept that the problem is their making ((HUGS)).

Diana - Thank you and yes when the maintenance men come around for the housing association they are always amazed at how much work we have done. Especially as they know what a mess it all was before we moved in.

I have a barbecue tomorrow at a friends house, and another friend has organised a huge picnic and fun day on her land on Monday. Both are Jubilee themed so we all have union jack patterned hats, and we will all be wearing red, white and blue smile

It is going to a fun long weekend laugh I hope you all enjoy yours where ever you are!
