I have recently gotten an iPad and I'm wondering what your favorite applications are? I'm in love with Evernote which allows me to take notes and keep them long term. I can even keep presentations on the program to show potential clients!

I also love my handwriting program, so I can use the iPad as notebook. Its perfect for notes I may want to keep long term. I can even upload or email the pages of my notebook!

How about you?

Did you all know that Amazon will lend you many Kindle books for free for two weeks? Its easy, you just have to borrow from your Kindle. I love it.

I've used various backup methods, including a well-known online backup svc, Recently I received an email from this service with minimal info regarding something called stash; I'm guessing it is some kind of cloud based feature, bu not sure how it is any different than the already online backup service I'm paying for, except possibly a friendlier interface, which tat service has needed for a very long time, IMO.

Anyone here use something called stash, and if so, what is your opinion of it helping to keep one better organized, etc.?
Thanks in advance for any help on this topic.

I've heard a lot of (mostly positive) feedback about Evernote; I've not used it yet personally, or have I been brave enough to trust Google-docs for what I guess is similar?

I would also appreciate any feedback about either of those services/features, etc.

I use that service. Stash is for sharing files with other people, like Dropbox. It's not just for storage. Yes, I agree, they could use an interface upgrade but I am a huge fan of the company.

Google docs is a fine service. I used it extensively in my last job and it works well.

I use Evernote but have just barely skimmed the surface with it. I am looking forward to doing some training for it with a productivity expert in SF soon.

Love Beat the Traffic! You just open it up and it pinpoints your location and you can see real time traffic issues. Often DH will call me and ask me how his drive home looks and if he should wait to leave work if there's a problem.

Shazam is a fun one. You know those times when you hear a song and can't remember who it is? You just hold it up to the radio and it tells you!
