Oh WOW! So many things going on with you gals!!

Welcome Andreala!

Waterlady: Yea for you! So glad the time to close the house has finally arrived!

Vanilla: I was dealing with a migraine too. Don't like to take meds, but I had to to get through the night! I know sleep will get the little bit that's left!

Bubblegum: Hope you finished your assignment!

Diana: I love to hear about the little things you're doing. I remember all the big projects you've done through the years, and you inspire me that ONE DAY I'll be saying that too! (I will, right???? LOL)

Tonight was the last normal AWANA night. Just have Awards Ceremony Sunday morning, then a AWANA Worker appreciation night next Wednesday. THEN WE'RE DONE!! I do want to sit down and write things out for this year and next. I want to get a head start on things. I'm really hoping for a good, productive year!

Well, I need to go cool down. We haven't wanted to turn on the air, and it's in the high 70's in here. Too hot to sleep, so I'll go cool down in the basement before heading to bed.
Nite!

Diana and Andreala - Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try and see if it works.

Yesterday I just did the dailies, oh and tackled cutting more the bay tree back.

Today I got the front room done, and the iron sorted, I just need to do the later this afternoon.

My head is a lot better today, Wendy I hope yours is too.

Bubblegum - loving the speed of thought! And you are right about the little wins, they do add up.

This morning, DDs teacher said the SENCO wanted to see me first thing - I went to see her, but she wasn't expecting me that very same day! I have booked an appointment for 9.00am Monday morning, all I ever hear from her is 'early next week' so next Monday it is! I suspect that my daughter's form teacher is also losing patience with the situation. But things are moving along now.

This morning, I drove to the place I'm going to tomorrow. I don't have the best sense of direction so I'd rather avoid the panic! I have an inspection of our house (rented) on Monday afternoon so will be making sure the house looks good for that.

Have a good day everyone!

It will get done and you will do it. With home schooling and being so active with your church you are limited on time but eventually being a GONer you get there. Been at this a long time, and still not totally finished but have come a very long way from when I started. Keep plugging along, and don't take on too much. Breaks in life are good sometimes.
Congraulations on completing so much this past year!

Gosh you ladies iron so often! I am sure with hanging out the clothes they smell wonderful while ironing. I just do touch ups. Only have a couple of batches a week, so don't feel badly about using the dryer. I remember those days of ironing all the time when the kids were home and all. Don't miss it! LOL

Didn't get out to do the outside work !

I had my meeting with the new "plumber". He is very experienced and very familiar with the equipment I use.

He is supposed to call me back with a price, I know I am going to have to pay him a lot more. Uggh. I'm stuck, I need an installer.

Got another load of laundry done. Went to the accountant's office. He's another one who never calls me back.

Took a walk with Finn, it's a good de-stress for both of us, LOL!

Washed down the rest of the railings on the deck, today I would like to scrub the decking and stairs. Maybe I can stain it all this weekend while we are getting a break from the rain.

Have one small job for work today.

Yesterday's productivity included accepting a delivery of mulch, cleaning/tidying my desk and the family room table, made an appt. with the tax preparer (have to do an amended return), and some paperwork.

Today, so far, I've left a note of instructions to the gardener ("apply mulch to flower beds"), put gas to the car, dropped DD off on campus and inched my way to the office in really bad traffic! Plans for the rest of the day include: organizing a kitchen cabinet (floor to ceiling), more paperwork/tidying, and picking up DD from campus (she's working till late, again).

Ha Wendy I'm always thinking the same way about Diana! Someday I'll be like her! You're a good GONer MOM!

And yes being a goner helped alot, had time to finish, got gas in the car, went to the library to get a page protector to put my work in, went into the city and back, got lunch and arrived to work early enough so I could eat my lunch and relax for an hour before starting my shift. Of course being a better goner lots I could have done in advance but still was proud of myself, next time I'll do better, too many hours typing, not used to it may back hurts!

My head hurts too, adrenaline rush is over and I'm done! What a night at work, soccer season has started and I had to stay with 5 of the kids and only another staff member, not a minute to myself until 9:30, then had to scramble to finish all the paperwork and go home.

Took a shower now off to bed I'm working tomorrow at 7:00 and then I get the weekend off!!

I've gone a beserk today as I got up earlier then normal.

I recieved another pocket for my cleaning belt so I have enough for my tools etc., I just need to get into a habit of using each pocket for certain things.

After I made breakfast, I cleaned the oven, a totally yucky job, I'll need to do it again next week. It's supposed to be self cleaning and I guess it was easier then other ovens but ho hum!

I then cleaned out the fridge then put away Dads shopping - he gets all the fruit, veg and fresh meat from the local farmers market.

Im having a tea break, and then hope to tackle the kitchen floor.

My new schedule is definately working out better. I do the main housework in the morning with rests every half an hour or so, then do another bit in the afternoon. It's helping me keep on top of things. Hopefully the new cleaning belt will help out as well as I dont have to keep going to find things I need to use.

One of our channels in the UK has a programme about Hoarders and it always inspires me to get in cleaning/decluttering into gear.

Everyone is busy, busy!!

I did my one job yesterday, stopped at the supermarket on the way home. Had to go to the bank.

Got the whole back deck scrubbed and the stairs. I will stain it this weekend. Took Finn for a walk as I couldn't stand the eye treatment he was giving me, along with the barking. Honestly the dog just about talks. LOL.

Then I decided to clean under the deck, I got everything pulled out except the ladders. Got most of the leaves raked out. (I have to crawl under there, it's only 3 foot high, yucky). Then Laura came over with some sushi and I decided it was time to quit for the night.

I'm real happy I got the deck started, it's my first sign of summer to me!

Thanks for the kind words gals. We all do work well being GONers!

Bubblegum:
Great going, knew you would finish your assignment! You did great on the rest of the errands. Don't you just love a day that falls into place. Doesn't matter how long it takes if it gets done and off your list. Glad you have the weekend off.

Purdy:
Your cleaning belt sounds interesting. Hope it helps you out.
I have heard about the hoarders show over there, we have them here too. It is sad, but like you said inspiring to clean things out.

Waterlady:
I think Finn is human too! LOL Just like Sylvester. He really thinks I understand CAT. He totally communicates like we're carrying on a conversation sometimes I swear. ROTFLOL

You are one ambitious gal, how about driving down (with Finn) and spreading some of that energy this way! It seems when I have been trying to get to the back porch all week, and will not be able to get there until Sunday Too much lunching!
