Phone calls! I hate making them to businesses. So my JDI for yesterday was to make two of them. Glad that is over, ha. Almost as bad as ironing! Which I also did yesterday.

My other JDI, for today, was to sort misc papers that have been left in a mess for ages. More to go, but made a start!

I hear you on the phone calls. I only did one of them to cancel the appt. I made for Sylvester. Wasn't up to fighting with him to get him into the carrier, etc. So will do it another time.

Those papers multiply don't they? LOL

I got the money from the sale of Mom's place so I took it to the bank and was able to meet with the person I needed to in order to decide how to manage that money. The decisions have been made and I feel good about it!

For today -
- puppy training (ongoing)
- whole house PUPA and sort (do as many baby steps as possible)
- attend funeral at 2 pm this afternoon
- sewing? (I really really need to get some slacks made for Mom)

I think that's a long enough list for today.

Did most of the items on my list, yesterday. Did the family room table instead of the kitchen cabinet.

My "cleaning fairy" is coming this morning so while she is doing her job, I want to keep putting stuff away.

My other reason for pushing to get the house picked up and less cluttered is because DD and her 2 boys are coming here for the weekend. I'm not concerned about her seeing my house in a mess but as it is, there isn't *room* for 3 extra ppl in here!

My gardener was weeding and mulching when I got home, yesterday, so, instead of doing the kitchen cabinet, I stayed out in the garden and helped him. Then, it was time to go for DD and after we came home and had dinner, I was ready to go to bed! So, the kitchen cabinet got postponed, yet again. :p

Darlene, that is great that your mother's house has worked out altogether, it must be a relief to get it done with.

Bless, who would want to deal with a kitchen cabinet when the garden is calling? I just wish the blackflies hadn't decided to come out here. I now have some lovely spots around my face, looks like some horrible skin disease!

Where does the time go? I think this month's heading "May just do it" is psyching me out so I think in terms of "I may just do it"! : )

I did get that ironing done, since I didn't want it to get to the point where I couldn't see over the pile. Wasn't that bad really, but I couldn't be bothered to get to it before.

Sang in the funeral choir on Wednesday, then we went off to the big city and stayed overnight downtown as DH had a course to give. I was able to see my girlfriend and her husband, then did a little shopping. Found a couple of clothing bargains, too. DH needed new swim trunks which I found on sale, and I got a pair of wool mix pants for under $10! I guess the wine colour was out of fashion but will be useful for me.

On the way home we made a stop to see DS and family and had supper with them. All in all a satisfactory trip.

Vacuum bedrooms - DONE
Errands in town - DONE
Launder towels and dry them (later when hydro is off peak)
Install 3 solar lights in yard
Clean kitchen windows while it is dull out.
Continue to work on Barbie wedding dress for DGD
Watch video with DH and continue joining squares for Jabez blanket

Bushlady: "May just do it"! I love it! I think that is what is happening with me, too! I, too, seem to be saying, "I may just do it. Then, again, I may not! "

I only did 2 of the 3 things on my list, yesterday. I don't know why, but I have been feeling really tired when I come home from work, etc., not feeling like doing anything. Yesterday, I even went to bed around 10:30 p.m. (but then, I stayed up reading in bed, because I was determined not to sleep at that early hour when I was not sick!) I probably need to start taking a daily multi vitamin, or something.

Sorry, didn't mean to whine.
