The musical was FANTASTIC!! We had a few hiccups, but that will surely make it memorable!! Thank you so much for praying for us!! The Lord answered!!
Didn't get to sleep until after midnight. Woke up when DH left, tried to go back to sleep, then got up at 6:45. UGH! I'm tired! If I didn't have to go return the risers this morning, I would go back to bed!! (Maybe a nap is coming on this afternoon!)
I told the girls we're taking the day off of school. Gonna go have some fun after returning the risers!!! Not sure what...maybe some garage sales??
Cya!

Wendy, Garage sales are my favorite "treat"!
Yesterday I had two small jobs in the morning, was done by 11:30.
Came home and I cleaned out the "tool" box in my truck. Took everything out, vacuumed and wiped it out thoroughly, put everything back in nice and neat. Checked my inventory.
Then cleaned out the cab and gave it a good vacuum also. Started cleaning out the carport, got the leaves picked up. I have two tires I don't know what to do with and they look unsightly sitting in there. I have a whole renewed outlook on my house, now that mom's is almost sold. I will only have one house to take care of now! Yippee!!
I have several boxes on the porch that came back with me from mom's, so I got to empty two, and put back the things we used to stage.
Washed the office curtains, pressed them and got them hung back up. Cooked some pork chops that defrosted, but Laura came over with a great "wrap" for dinner, so I'll do something with the pork tonight. Finn was so pesky, we decided since it was almost dark to just walk him back and forth to mom's. (the bears are around again, saw poop on the trail and the garbage gets stolen LOL)
Had a big T-storm during the night with lots of much needed rain.
I have a lot of energy this morning, hope to get a lot done.

Today I've started my lists. There are too many long term projects that have fallen behind. These will be the ones with baby steps and maybe there is another thread for these: (?). Family tree research, 1940-50 photo album, bringing this year's photos up to date on iPhoto, organizing the zones in the basement, starting a wedding notebook, and starting a "just in case" notebook.
Next I will start a list of short term projects.
It is nice to read everyone's posts and to feel motivated again.

Jo I still am planning on my photo downloads. Getting closer to it! LOL You are doing great!
You could go to the Motivational thread and post on the JDI thread for the babysteps if you wish.
WL: Getting ready to happy dance with you when the house is finally sold! YOU did a fantastic job! ~~~~~~~~~~~ Went to the store for some fruits and salad fixings. Also had a couple of places to check out for some purchases for other people.
The humidity is high and going to rain off and on all week. Had severe thunderstorms last night. YUCK but with such a warm winter and not alot of snow, we need the rain.

Jo welcome back!
Bless, always on top of things!
Karen, so glad you are at peace now, can't wait to hear about his first day!
Waterlady, nice going on the house! Hope the new neighbours can become good friends!
Busy busy all around! I had been working for the last 6 days, I have today and the weekend off! How quickly it builds up, fortunately I have very few hot spots to deal with. Cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, cabinet fronts, appliances, counter and all of the accumulated dishes; wash, let dry, come back to put away and do another batch!
The laundry is almost done, towels and bathroom rugs are in the wash now. My clothes are put away, the dresser has been dejunkefied(!) and the furniture in the bedroom is dusted! Hate that job. Did the dusting in the living room as well, at least there it shows, more furniture and this is the room most 'lived' in...
I worked on completing this month's budgeting, and paid bills. Had to get DS at work, that was 90min spent in the car I didn't plan on... Now getting ready to meet DGF for dinner and a movie!

Everyone is keeping very busy! Great job all! Wendy, what a wonderful feeling for all! So glad the musical went so well. Now you can take a much deserved rest and focus on other areas of ministry! Jo, so good to see you again! This is a very motivating group isn't it! Good idea to use the baby steps as much as possible. They really helped me over the last several months of dealing with medical issues and keeping things more or less sane at home. Diana, isn't it great when we get a whole new outlook on things from a little step back! Love that you're feeling so refreshed! Purdy, glad to hear the meeting went well. Waterlady, sounds like you are on a mission now with your house! I know it will be both a relief and a bittersweet thing when your Mom's house is turned over to the new owners. You've worked hard on getting it ready for sale. So glad your dsil helped you out. Vanilla, good job on tackling the ironing. My least favorite chore! Bubblegum, you are so busy! Nice to have a few days to take care of things. Hope you are able to do something fun for you! Did my dailies today and also got a few other things tended to. Had purchased a hanging basket of flowers to support a local school and got it out and hanging on the deck. Took care of watering my poor gasping houseplants. Took dh to the big orange box to get a new weed trimmer and he took care of getting the edging done. He'll likely get the lawn mowed tomorrow....guess I'll need to tend to weeds that didn't succumb to the spray last week. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Doing little things! Straightened out my address cards both business and personal. Got my dresser cleaned out and sorted, ready for summer clothing. Put some sweaters in storage. Doing babysteps in the closet. Actually one side has winter clothes in and one has summer. Should just use one side during the season! No switching....might seriously consider that. Less work, but I have some items I need to donate.
