Ok I did a dumb thing and left the refrigerator door ajar and now the freezer part is frozen over. I emptied the ice maker last night and got it cleaned off of all frost and it made new cubes so that part is working.

As far as the food it may have freezer burn but I'll have to live with that. I'll also only use what's in this freezer to clean it put.

So what do I need to do?

Cindy

Cindy you may have to pull the "ice block" of food out of the freezer. It's possible at that point that you could let it thaw enough to get the chunks of ice off of the food and then get it back into the freezer....

Hopefully someone else will have a better solution to the problem. Hope it works out so you don't lose any food!
