Suzy and Hadassah!!!!!!!! What a lovely surprise to see you both again! Suzy, wondered how you have been doing it has been months since we heard from you.

Hadassah you should check in and get a shot of support from the gals there....
STRIVING:
Hoping things are improving for you, and you are feeling better each and every day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I missed a couple of weeks.
Family/Friends:
Had a family dinner on Friday, had a great time. DD2 was in for the weekend with my grandsons. Was able to spend time with them on Saturday, and celebrate her birthday (which is Sunday) don't get to do that ever.
Finances: Good
Pets: Gypsy is much better this week. Had an infection.
House: Getting in good shape, and the DD2 and grandsons helped me get the garage all cleaned up. The house was in good shape and DD commented on how up to date and nice it looked! Just a little ETEing while they were here and a vacuum and laundry after they left.
Health: Just had a teeth cleaning this morning. Have a doctor's appt next week.
Becoming me:
Still meeting with ladies for crafts and knitting. Taking a few classes this month.
My family, friends, and spiritual spokes are fully plumped, due to a death in the family. Almost daily prayer meetings, and family get togethers leading up to the funeral services.
These same spokes will continue to be plumped during the remainder of the month, with another prayer meeting scheduled for this weekend and a birthday party scheduled for the following weekend.
In between, I'd like to tend to some of the other spokes.
Hopefully you rested Bless!
STRIVING:
Praying for you and hoping your recovery is coming along quickly.
Had my family and friends spoke filled to the brim last week with the DD2 and her sons over, and then the rest of the local family came and we had dinner together. It was so nice and fun.
DD2 and the boys helped me with a few things and I was able to celebrate her birthday (a week early) but take her and the boys out to lunch and then later a movie. It was nice having the decorations up also before I knew they were coming for a visit.
They had an early spring break.
Pets: Are doing fine again. Bought a new bed for Gypsy for her 11th birthday on Friday.
Health: Went to the dentist last week for a cleaning, and have a doctor's appt this morning.
Finances: Trying to keep those in good line. Did sign up for some extra classes this next month, and picked up a couple of tops to wear on vacation. Nothing elaborate, hopefully can pay them all off right away.
Becoming Me:
Feeling a little overwhelmed with the upcoming month. Have all sorts of activities and classes, and then a vacation (which will be definitely needed by then). Will take one day at a time and plan for the week ahead.
Wishing all the best to everyone!
I am not following GON as much as I should, so I can only hope that everyone's news are good. I need to check you more often, but
time management!!
overwhelm!
Otherwise my wheel is having hiccups, sometimes spinning (I love it but it is certainly scary too), sometimes stalling (like after a surge, and forgot to refill the gas tank?!! lol).
My temple is going through such a crisis, it depresses me.
Finances are a huge worry.
I need to email my ex-husband for a child related document, and I have been putting off the (simple) task for nearly two months, now reaching the deadline, I keep putting it on my JDI list, with no success!! this is triggering so much... I surely have an issue with this "non"significant other... There will be an art-therapy session end of April, organized for women at all stages of divorce, I will probably bring those issues with me, and hopefully get some closure?
Very good relationships with my family, with my children, and met three different friends in a row yesterday, which was nice and heart-warming.
Health is okay. I need to lose ten pounds though. I need to increase walking, now that the days are nicer. I still go to the gym daily, but need to tell my body to burn better!
Mental health is wobbly. Food is very much on my mind and the eating disorder is lurking with a sign "you never took care of me!"
Career is still exciting and scary at the same time: I feel overwhelmed by the necessary things to do, and time management is not mastered.
Home management: I am still working hard on throwing papers away, it is painfully slow and not showing big dents. Some cleaning done, but apart from basics, the house still feels like a disaster to me.
Finances ARE a disaster. Two huge bills are waiting for the miracle to bring some cash. I didn't make enough in March. Hopefully April will be better. Working very hard on it.
Not in order, but this is just before Passover (tomorrow night), and I am on a "speedy" bump.
Happy Easter to all!!
Striving: You mentioned you got braces put on your teeth so one way to look on the bright side of a horrible accident is that you now look so young (with braces & at least it isn't acne making you look like a teenager!).
Had my surgery yesterday. General anesthesia worked fine (was worried about that as "knocking me out" has been difficult during some of my recent surgeries & I don't like waking up during surgeries, esp. the cutting part!)...
BUT I have to use crutches & can't put any weight on my right foot & I am not very good at that. Fell down last night so I fear I will break an arm or other leg or neck (& husband will have to put me {well, both of us} out of misery) so today I have been crawling everywhere in the house & my knees are killing me! I found some knee guards used for roller blading that I will use from now on, but right now I have throbbing knees as well as a throbbing foot!
I will have to learn how to use the crutches by my next doc appt. on Wednesday. I don't think I can crawl into the office.--Suzy
Suzy-A co-worker of mine had foot surgery a few years ago, & she used a scooter type device. She kneeled on it on the leg with the bad foot & pushed it with the other foot. She put a pillow on it to cushion her knee. It had handle bars to guide it. Perhaps this would be a better option for you.
