A new month and time to decide which room we will be working on this month! Will you be starting on a new room or will you be continuing with the room you are working on currently? It doesn't matter. Sometimes, it's good to start on a new room; other times, it's better to continue with the old room.

My "room" in April was taxes, and I am happy to say that they were done and filed. So, in May, I will go back to my "room of the year": Office/guest/crafts room. blush

Ok my room which I know will take two months is getting my yard into shape. That means scraping the garage, touching up lawn furniture, painting the eves, nailing the lattice back around the deck, fixing the wind chimes, and getting the mulch pile set up again.

The number one problem is finding time to get it all done and being big enough to do some of it. If the weather is nice Saturday I will do some of the deck work and furniture touch up. I'll scrape a table and bench. I will need to paint to get them done.

OK it's time for me to go test.

I've committed to working on photos, electronic albums to tell stories, scrapbooking, finish journal/story telling projects. DH is leading the project set for every rainy day.

cindy, I'm just tired looking at your list!!

Bless, I am with you.....my ROTM of the month/year/years(in multiple homes!) will once again be the office.

The first priority is to finish the real estate class I started the second week of April. I am at the 75% point in the class, realizing how many terms need to be memorized to just spit them up to pass and not use most of them ever again...sort of like college classes. I am hoping to take the state exam by mid month so I can get started with my friend. She is excited about me joining her team as whe has more business than she can even think about handling, so I can get started very fast.

Also, I have what I think will be the final follow up with the dr who operated on my wrist next week and think I will be getting released to go back to my morning shift by the following week. Though my strength and grip are still at about 50%, he said I just need to keep pushing through the pain as it could take up to a year to get it back completely, and workers comp is pushing them to release me.

I am also working with SO on his awareness of finances. He knows I am keeping a journal of expenses but says he is fine with me taking care of them.....not. So I sat down with him this weekend so he got all the details of where money is spent. And in the long run, this will have me more organized for taxes next year.

The office is once again a mess. I have corralled things from all over the house(papers, etc) that need to be gone through(mainly going to the trash I think) and have piled them in one corner of the room. Taxes are done so that box will be filed in the storage room as well.

The other plan is to pick up an external hard drive so I can start storing old papers in the computer to open space in the laundry/storage room.

I will be continuing to work on my MBR this month. Last month I cleaned the carpet, repaired and painted the walls and put the furniture back in the room.

Still to be done -
- put the pictures back up including the picture that serves as a door on the laundry chute.
- paint closet fronts (white)
- closet clean-out
- book shelf sort
- dispose of no longer needed items (baby steps)
- decide on what to do about a headboard
- sew different bedspread, bed skirt and window curtains

We got rain so I was saved watering one evening. I hope to touch up the table and chairs this evening if the winds aren't to bad. Also I'm going to start moving plants out. I do have one I'm wondering how I can get it out.

I was looking at my hydrangeas have a ton and half of blooms getting ready to burst open. I'm so happy. They should be really pretty this year.

Ok I have gotten busy and got a bunch of papers graded and now the day is almost over. Today I'm happy we tested. I've only had 3 students. Tomorrow goes back to a real work day.

I signed up at the library on how to do various things with organizing your photos, etc. It is next week! Funny!

Cindy:
I have a little piece of wood about8" with wheels on it, and I place heavy things on it to roll it. Something like that would help you get those heavy pots out. LOVE hyddrangeas! Glad you have some!

So much for a calm day. Things are so hectic right. I'm already behind and I've got to get a ton of papers graded. It sounds terrible but I'm going to find a movie and show it today to get caught. Problem is all these kids have decided they want to pass the class. Well see on some of them.....

Being home isn't much better. Every time I set out to work in the yard someone needs me. I wish my friends would take care of themselves one evening and let me get some things chopped down. I know friends are more important but I need some 'me time'.

Ok enough complaining. I know things will get better. No there is no saying no when they are at my front door so next time I hand them a tool too.

Diana I really need to start saying no but it's so hard. I forget how hectic the last weeks of school are. I've had at least something every night and sometimes two things. I was able to get to the flower beds last night and cut down my forsythia bush. I left the hedge and going to get spray to kill it and then take it out. Also have some trees that need killed.

I have all the laundry done and have keep most of the house in good shape. I do plan on major decluttering when school is out. I'm going to work a little out doors and then work on the house. I'm just going to pretend that's my job four days a week.

I have told my kids no work accepted after today so I should get everything done at school by Monday and then all I'll have to do enter their final's grade and be finished grading for this year. I am going through the room and start getting it ready to leave. I will need to take home some supplies and make a list of needs for next year. I know I won't be buying as much as I usually do for the kids but there are some things I need.

I have the FFA Banquet tonight. Four of my 'babies' are graduating. Of course they always have great food so it's more than worth going to.

Ok I need to get back to school work. Of course today I'm getting to 'shop' a wish list for next year from this one grant. I get to buy iPods and Kindles and things like that. Of course we don't know if we will get them or not but it will be fun to see. Having an iPod would really make my life easier I think.

The ROTM continues to be the office, with a hint of garage and rest of the house thrown in for good measure!!

Some really good progress to report though that has given my mood a big lift. First, went to the dr yesterday and as of next week, I will be back on my morning shift at the J O B. (strength and grip still an issue, but he said it will come back gradually) Secondly, I finished and passed the real estate course last weekend, surprising friends by getting in done in just a few weeks(with working full time, adding in therapy and travel time to therapy, and other things going on). I will sit for the state exam next Thursday so am studying something daily to get ready for it. Assuming I pass, I will get my ID card and be able to start selling immediately. Third, got the 401k stuff done and mailed the final check to the irs.....now I just have GA to deal with, and my accountant and I will be sitting down next Thursday afternoon to contact them as well. This is the last thing tying me to my ex and I can't wait for it to be done. seeing that we have been divorced for 2.5 yrs already, it's about time!

And with all this going on I have managed to give the master and hall and main bath and linen closet a deep cleaning, and a light cleaning elsewhere.

Office is still a disaster, but slowly am going through the piles I moved in there and because of taking care of several issues that have been going on for so long(loan mod, irs, hand issues), I can now start to file some of that stuff too. Thinking that before I put some of this stuff away, I may just start the scan and shred process to be done with it forever(just not the irs stuff yet)

So even though making slow progress in there, not planning on pushing too hard. Study study study for the next six days.

Progress on my MBR ROTM -
Since my last post, I have -
- put the pictures back up including the picture that serves as a door on the laundry chute DONE
- closet clean-out (DH's stuff done; my stuff could do with a sort/toss/rearrange)
- book shelf sort DONE
- dispose of no longer needed items DONE

To be done yet -
- paint closet fronts (white)
- create a new headboard (pillow shams hanging on a decorative curtain rod)
- sew different bedspread, bed skirt and window curtains
- install mirror tiles on the wall

For this weekend, my concentation will be on getting my Mother's former home ready for a transfer of ownership next Tues, the 15th. My siblings have already gotten any items that they want of hers. I've taken what I want. What's left now goes to anyone who wants it! Even though I dislike hosting garage sales, I am going to have one at her place on Fri afternoon and Sat morning. I've been taking some of my stuff over there to add to the stuff that was left in her place.

BL word fail, I'm truly worried that you have demanded too much of yourself! Working full time, taking care of a myriad of household tasks, fiance & son, taking courses, studying for exams atop of recent surgery and physiotherapy plus the stress of IRS would certainly overwhelm me.

I promise paperwork, Lists etc. will wait until you finish your studies, complete exams, obtain your Realtor license and join your friend's business.

Outstanding job in completing your course, and I wish you nothing but success. Take a deep breath and one thing at a time. Glad you will be able to get back to your regular type job now that your hand is almost healed.

Darlene:
Gosh things are moving along nicely for you and your sale of your mom's house. Good luck on the yard sale.

Cindy:
You and I have been here a long time, and we fall into our old habits of worrying about getting things taken care of during our busy times, and the funny thing is they wait when they have to.
I like to write down a list, for the upcoming week lately, and can pick and choose what to do each day. Seems to be working well for me. Of couse some days are busier than others, but can manage .

Just lost everything I typed.....aaarrrgghhh!

Darlene, so glad all is moving well for you with the house sale and that things are going smoothly with the family too..

Cindy, we have all been here a long time, and guess what? Whatever you don't get done now will still be there when you are ready later and have the time.

Dianaro and Cyd, I will be fine. For the first time in a long time, I am feeling uplifted about things other than my life with SO. Since moving back to MI over 4 years ago, it has been one struggle after another, one more mountain to climb with no end in sight. And the job market has been depressing. Part of the problem is that I am a hard worker, always giving 150% to my job, looking for solutions to issues and taking things seriously. My job does not value that. They want worker drones to do the labor so they can sit back. They want young people like themselves for management, inexperience that won't ask questions, and that is not me anymore(I will not be the "yes sir, whatever you say sir" person anymore). The people who are getting promotions are not the ones doing the job, they are the ones who are sucking up to the boss, who sit around when the boss isn't there barking orders. So I work to get back to the early am shift, where members don't gripe about having to show a membership card to enter, where there is minimal management issues to deal with, and for the small pay I get now, I can come in and do only my job and get out when I am done. I am not bitter, just realistic. I want to start back into something I know I am good at, that I enjoy and that I know has the potential for a decent living too.

I will be able to once again focus on my life with my man, my stuff, and my new businesses, in whatever order I see fit to put them in. And I will have time off to see my brother as well. Working evenings every weekend means I haven't had time to spend with him in several months, and that too is not acceptable.

A little at a time it is coming together. It may seem like its all at once, but the reality is that four years of hard work is finally starting to come together, and for that I am happy!

Getting the irs issue out of the way is huge and a big relief. The class is done and I am just trying to memorize terms so I can spit them back out on the test. Everything else I am working on is energy releases during study breaks

Diana you are right but after having to go through my parents it's making me want to get rid of everything.

Today is a hard day because I'm having to tell my Srs. goodbye. It's what we want but it's still hard to see 'our babies' go. Of course we don't want them staying. Then to top it off it's the anniversary of my husband dying.

This evening we going for drinks after work. I need one. Tomorrow I plan on working in the yard. Here is my list:

wash front porch bench
move plants outside
water outdoor plants
work on crap apple tree area
mow yard
rest

I also need to iron my laundry. I just haven't had time since I haven't been home this week. Wouldn't be so bad except once school is out things change quickly.

Ok I still have afternoon classes to teach. Only one more week which I'm so thankful for.

Started on my basement, which will be a room of the month x 3! Today I tossed the contents of one whole file cabinet drawer. It was of travel maps and brochures, things that I could easily find on the internet if needed. The contents stuffed into one large garbage bag!

I hope to get back into the basement soon. Did real good in the beginning, but lost my way, so much going on. Have quite a few graduations to attend this upcoming month!

Hopefully after the parties are over things might slow down.

Jo, good on you dumping an entire file cabinet drawer of travel information. You are 100% correct, the most up-to-date information is easily found on internet. What's next? It's so much work to manage papers it's best to remember that 80% of papers we retain are never needed again. It's all important to be able to easily retrieve the 20% that is needed.

Today I am off work....SO is with his son at a hunter safety class til 4, final day so son gets his certificate. I pulled all leftovers from fridge and freezer and am making a big batch of chicken stew to turn into chicken pot pie....chicken, onions, baby red taters, and frozen mixed veggies(from that nineteen cent sale a few months ago!) The standing joke is that the way SO and I cook, we can feed all the neighbors.

Our club is moving to a smaller location, which means not only packing the old place but also clean up and painting of the new one, and will be heading over there in about an hour.....SO's sister(not the ex roomie) is the manager for the place and could use some help....so I promised a few hours. Their mom just called and asked if I would pick her up and take her over too. So just waiting for the gravy to thicken then will head out.

The chicken pot pie will make a big one for us for a few meals, and one each for SO's sis and parents.....costing me just the price of a couple packages of ready to go pie dough.

Did some studying last nite and reviewing again this morning.....not pushing anything too hard, taking it easy, even though it doesnt sound like it!

Have a good day everyone!

Well I was so happy that I got all the plants outside and then this morning found another one. Oh well...it goes out tonight. The bench is nice and clean now. I will put the cushions out tonight. I hope I remember to stop by my parents and see if I can find something to use as a coffee table out front.

I part of bed trimmed back and have sprayed some bushes with killer so hopefully they die soon. I'm far from over but it's a start. I want to trim two of my trees this evening. Not sure if I can trim the third one.

After my class at PB and I also accessorized the inside of the house. It had need perking up and I did it.

I thought this week would be calmer but I noticed I have something every night this week except Friday which is the last day of school. No teacher is worth anything that day.

Today:
Try and pay air man
trim trees
water plants
Decorate front porch
make list of paint needed

I got some stuff done and then they called asking for help with the Sr. Banquet-so I went and had fun, Was able to bring home lunch for my whole lunch bunch for probably two days. I was glad I went.

Then another friend was waiting when I got home but I just went to work and she helped and didn't stay long. Just needed to talk a few minutes.

Luckily the air man called and said we can do it over phone so I'll do that after I get off. Also I'll trim the tree since that didn't get done. I'm cleaning up my shed and tossing since Am Vet's is coming. I'll make it into the house later in the evening.

Oh I do need some questions answered:
Bowling balls-can they be stored in the attic?
What does everyone do with all those bags companies give you with their logos on them?

Cindy,
Good going on helping at the Sr. luncheon, and sharing with your lunch bunch (love that name)

Don't know about bowling balls storage.
I recycle my bags usually.

The bags I was wondering about are the cloth bags you get free at events and stuff. The plastic ones I use as trash liners and to stuff outdoor pillows. I do have a set of cloth ones I use for groceries but then have a bunch more. Those are the ones I don't know what to do with.

Allergies have WON big time. I feel like I'm dying. I finally got some meds but they haven't helped much. Hopefully soon. I did make the last two outdoor pillows and got one stuffed. This weekend I want to get the shed cleaned and arranged with my entertaining stuff so I'm ready to go.

This evening their is a gathering for one of our school secretaries. She last her husband Sunday after a lengthy illness. Before I go I hope to get the hamburger cooked for Friday. Then if I have energy after press a few things.

I think that's enough for today. Hope everyone has a good day.

Cindy, if you have more cloth shopping bags than you know what to do with, add them to a charity donation. There may be other people who would love to have the bags.

As for me, my MBR ROTM project has been set aside in favor of another project. Mom's former home is totally cleaned out and the new owners have taken possession of the place.

Now I have a massive task ahead of me in my entire house. With the things I grabbed from Mom's added to what I already had, I have WAY TOO MUCH STUFF! My next project is to go through everything (baby steps) deciding what to keep and what to get rid of. In a lot of cases, I have to decide whether to keep the item that reminds me of Mom or to keep the item that I already had.

It is an overwhelming task. Been there and have had to do it.
I liked keeping dishes, etc. Even have a food chopper Mom used all the time. Coffee pot was around as an extra (I like to make regular and decaf for guests so having two helped). I am sentimental so that seems to be what I kept.

Cindy:
Now I understand about the bags. I agree wth Darlene, donate the extra ones, ask your friends so they can be more "green", and give them away. Pick a number to keep, and then get rid of the rest.

Thanks for your encouragement! In the basement, after emptying a rolling file cabinet drawer, I then, today, emptied out a bookshelf shelf that was stuffed with papers. We tossed and sorted and then I filed each paper in a hanging folder in the cabinet. That enabled stuff that was sitting out on a counter to go into the bookshelf!

Next up: another 4-drawer file cabinet down there needs clearing and ordering as there are stacks of papers everywhere. One drawer at a time!

I think sometimes I put things off, imagining that some task will take too long. Then it's a nice surprise when it doesn't!

Great going on the paper clearing. I need to do that also, an I find it the opposite, thinking things won't take long and they do! LOL

Jo, you are doing really well! Breaking things down to baby steps (one shelf or one drawer at a time) helps.

For me, I find some tasks take longer than I anticipate and others take less time. It depends, I think, on just how thorough a job I want to do.

An update....that huge batch of chicken pot pie filling from last week yielded more than i care to count. I ended up with 2 loaf pans, a 13 by 9 pan and 3 pie tins. I fed ten from the big one with leftovers for lunch the next day. I have one in ther freezer for us, sent home pie tins with SO's parent and sister and her finace, and sent other loaf pan to SO's best friend. SO got 2 lunches, and I got one. Crazy good and everyone raved about it.

It has been a really hectic week. Got the clearance to back to the morning shift and started it this week. Going from going to bed late to now getting up at 3am has made it a rough week. The high side to it is that SO and I once again get to spend time together and that is great. The down side is sore hand that I am watching and trying to get used to the extreme physical of the morning shift.

I had to wait a week and a half for an available time to take the real estate test.....and I passed it. My friend teased me that I got done with it faster than she did. You are allowed 3.5 hrs to take the test and I finished in one hour and 8 minutes, 22 minutes faster than she did. I spent the past few days running around filling out papers for the new job, paying fees for the various things needing to be paid as well as working and working on things at home.

Looks like my new schedule is going to be Sunday and mondays off so that will also be good for the new job as well. My friend has already given me my first lead and I am hoping to write my first offer on when we go out on Monday. This has tremendous potential and I have set a goal for the first job to become part time(for benefits) by the beginning of the year.

ROTM as a result has not been happening. Some other things are moving along though. with my birthday coming up, SO asked what I wanted as a gift and i told him time and projects. As a result, the following have been done......The main bathroom cabinet doors now have the handles installed and in the process he repainted them as he thought they needed it. After installing the new microwave a few months ago, a new base platform of sorts needed to be made so it would be level in the cabinet...he did that today. A small shelf support where the stove used to be that had been covered up came loose and fell out. He is fixing and reinstaling that today as well.

With the rest of the day I will be cleaning out the interior of my car, going to the carwash, and clearing away some of the mess in the office and installing new forms etc that my friend gave me to have on hand for the new biz. With it being 85 today, outdoors activities with DB won't be happening as he cannot handle the heat(heart patient)...instead it will be indoor time watching some new movies, The Grey and Joyful Noise.

Bless, I agree. You can never really pinpoint how long something is going to take. I am amazed at how much work I have done here the past few weeks and just how little progress shows.

At least bills are paid, irs is done, house is in okay shape, real estate class and test are done, freezer/pantry is restocked, and am working on getting up to speed with the new second job. the house will be there when we are ready for it....right Dianaro??

Thank you sooo much. Just starting a new chapter and am hoping it goes as well as it feels. Sitting here in the office and rolling my eyes.

Did manage to do dinner yesterday and breakfast. There are lots of leftover veggies for the next several days so just need to deal with the entree part...and tonite is reheating Sunday dinner.

Got car washed and this morning just finished vacuuming, and wiping down EVERY SINGLE SURFACE inside it, including windows, so it is looking good. You don't think about how dirty it gets, but it took 4 wipes on the steering wheel alone and I know I could have gotten more, just not enough time.

Meeting my client from 10 to 3 today and hoping to get something happening for her. Will do some laundry tonite then early to bed to tackle the day job. Forgot how hard I was working with all the lifting of cases and rearranging and believe me, I feel it by the end of the day....but for now it is a job. I will do as they want and be the drone. Tired of trying to make suggestions to help only to be told to "just do your job and don't worry about it", only to see them use my suggestion two or three days later. I will now become a clock puncher and get out at the end of the shift.

Did watch those movies over the weekend and both were really good, totally different, but both enjoyable.

Hate when people do that when you have suggestions, but look at it this way, if they use it, it was a good one. What goes around comes around I say, and pretty soon you won't have to put up with any of it.

It's hard to work in the basement as it's colder and darker. It will be nice this summer to work there, but things need to be started now. It's also "away" from the family and I prefer to be upstairs. What do other people do to make working at a task location like that more pleasan? Music? I'm tempted to haul it all upstairs to work and then haul it all back down to put away.

I've done it both ways. Paper to sort thru I take upstairs, some items cannot be brought up, so then I sort down stairs in the basement. Agree with you totally about trying to make it more pleasant....could you set a timer and just do a babystep
or two, working downstairs? This from a 2 yr. veteran of th ROTM in the basement. Have only one section left to do, but it is the most involved, books and craft items!

I know whatever you decide will work out for you.

Jo, music is a good start and also bringing stuff upstairs is good too.

When working on my office, I would bring stacks of paper in the living room and set it on my ottoman with a trash can next to me and go from there.....

I guess what I am trying to say is there is no right or wrong way to do this, experiment and see what works for you.

You don't even want to know how long the office has been my ROTM!! 2 years would be nice Dianaro!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAGLELADY! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Honestly I have been at the basement longer than 2 years, especially after Mom passed, but this (hopefully) is the final go around, with much much less than I had originally. Now it is only books and craft items to go thru.

School is finally out. I was sick the weekend after school was outand didn't make it to anyof the parties. I didn't even get dressed. Then still had to make it through Monday and Tuesday bit did.

I am feeling better and spent yesterday in the yard working. Looks pretty good but still have lots of work. I decided to work every other day out there. I'm wearing a mask but it doesn't help that I can tell.

Today I spent cleaning the inside. I'm goiong to have to clean the carpets. They have gotten dirty. DD has the cleaner but I'll get it when I'm up there next week.

Tomorrow is going to be spent doing errands. I need some lock and locks but I may have to order them. I'd rather see them but no one here has small sizes. I still have a couple of places to look but I order them.

Right now I'm going to go just relax. I'm tied.

ladies, thank you for the birthday wishes......it has been a busy week. For my birthday, I worked then SO and I stayed in and had pizza....very mellow. We both got out of work a couple hours early so got some nice quality time together. Then on Thursday, his payday, he told me he was taking me out for my birthday dinner, and we went for lobster....yummy....with leftovers for lunch on Friday!!

ROTM has seen me walking by it this week. Working a full time job, trying to learn the new things for the second job, showing property after work on Friday and Saturday, and on my day off on Monday.....and having my brother, and SO's son and 2 other friends all weekend, has kept me running.

Tomorrow is a new week and I am committed to my day off on Wednesday being and office day....the clutter is driving me nuts and I know I can make a dent in it.

I did however, manage a couple hours outdoors early today before it got hot out, putting down sixteen bags of mulch around the entire house and getting the ditch out front and the driveway sprayed for weeds. That, going to a Polish fair, and cooking for an army all weekend was all I really got done.

All in all it was a nice weekend.

WOW, BL, that was a busy busy weekend! Take a breather!
Glad SO treated you to lobster for your bday. Glad it was good!

Well, I went downstairs yesterday and looked around at my next and hopefully LAST area to clean and sort thru, and it isn't quite as bad as I imagined. Have some donations to gather, books to sell, and taking an inventory on projects to do!

Ok I can't seem to get started this summer. I have all these ideas but nothing is getting done. I think part of it is I am tired of donating stuff and not getting any money. I think I will just have a sell this fall and see if I can make some money.
ALso I need to get with branches and get the whole house cleaned.

Today I'm going to try and clean my outdoor table cloths cleaned. When I got them out they all had something on them. Sure hope I can get them cleaned. Also start going through my sewing room. I really need to downsize it. I want to quit being a hoarder in there.

Now I plan on STARTING!!!! Wish me luck.

I know what you are going thru Cindy. I seem to be in that place with these meds. Mind going in circles wanting to get everything DONE! Need to focus on one thing instead of jumping around....

Cindy and Dianaro, I know what you mean about wanting to get it all done.

In addition to the brother, SO's son and his 2 friends(read that as 4 teenagers!), we also had the son's dog as well, a combo beagle/german shepherd, sweet and loving but dumb as a stump and at 7 months old, a perpetual motion machine that is not completely housebroken(we don't even want to talk about that part)

So NO, nothing done this weekend. I am off today and decided the best way to get the work done is to make a list.

Here goes
Laundry-DB's bedding, bathroom rugs(pee spots), master bedding,3 other loads too
Kitchen-dishes, counters, sweep and mop floor
Living and dining room-dust, sweep and mop. Put away excess papers, preferably in the trash can!
Main bath-once over
Guest room/DB room-strip bed, dust, sweep and mop. Finally box up the donations and itemize the list(finally remembered to bring home some boxes for this project
Master bedroom-strip bed and launder, dust sweep and mop
Office-try to make a dent! Includes filing of paid bills, paying others, research for 3 buyers I am working with and setting of appointments for showings, clearing away the piles that are again growing.
Basement-packing up of SO's donation piles, general cleanup and dusting and vacuuming, and shampooing the pees spots with odor neutralizer.

Of the above, the laundry kitchen and office are the priorities.
Load one is in washer as we speak and load one of dishes is in rack drying while I am typing and having my coffee, and it isn't even 8am yet.....so off to a good start

I guess what I am saying is to remember to make a list and set your priorities and don't worry if it doesn't get done. We all know it will be there when we are ready!!

Off to working in the house now

I got some stuff accomplished in the bedroom (ROTM) this past month. I've at least started the process of sewing my bedspread! What I have done looks awesome. I'll post a pic when I get it done.

I have purchased the rest of the fabric now - at least enough for the bedspread. I may need to get more to do the curtains and pillow shams.

Ok I did finally get some things finally done. I have started going though the sewing room. So far I've tossed a bunch of old paint and a lot of just junk. I've emptied three containers. It's giving me more room.

On the outside I got the yard mowed and tables painted. Not sure if I'll leave one the color it is but I can always change it easy enough.

Also finished the last of the school work. Grades were posted so there is no changing now.

Also planning some road trips and have decided to go back to one place for vacation. I'm going to Eurkea Springs. I love it there and I feel so relax when I'm there. So I'm just going back there. I can afford it and I have fun. so what if I've been. I'll just try new things.

Right now I'm going to go make my grocery list for tomorrow. So fun....
