Making lasagna for a potluck tonight (frozen spinach, ricotta, frozen sauce) and noodles **using pantry and freezer items.

Will cook a meal tomorrow for some leftovers for during the weekend.

Also some leftover stirfry from the other day to eat as well.

Did my last grocery shop for the month of April.

Spent $12.75 and bought:

Tomatoes ($.59/lb) = $.38
1 cauliflower ($.49/lb) = $.90
1 cucumber = $.34
zucchini ($.49/lb) = $1.00
Serrano chilies ($.79/lb) = $.13

bananas ($.69/lb) = $1.35
white champagne grapes ($1.89/lb) = $4.52
tangerines ($.49/lb)= $2.84

1 can cheese = $1.29

Spent to date: $133.15 + $12.75 = $145.90
Balance left in April budget: 150 - 145.90 = $4.10

**************
Today's brunch: bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, grapes, freshly made lemonade (lemons from the garden)

Bananas for snacks & DD had cereal, too.

Dinner: rice or tortillas, chicken curry or smoked sausages & leeks; avocado pudding
