Feeling a little anxious about my upcoming trip. Have my lists done, just get that way sometimes. Not a traveler often so that is probably why. Figured it should be done while I can do it.
Hate leaving my pet babies, but they sleep a lot and may not miss me anyhow! LOL

Wlll miss all of you, but give you all a break from me! Will be posting tomorrow, then will be gone for about 6 days.

Enjoy your trip Diana, and come back safely. Your pet babies will keep each other company, no doubt!

Lynnie and Mary, hope today is a good one for you.

Carol, we wasted $100 getting our TV hooked up when we came back to Canada, then looked in disgust at the programming sets offered and never did get round to ordering any. Now we just use the TV for videos and DVDs - no commercials - Yaaay! We can get news and podcasts and all sorts on the internet, too.

Thank you, ladies I plan on having fun. Today I treated myself (part was a gift card) to a pedicure and a no chip manicure. New to me it has been years since I did acrylics and my nails are short, but we'll see how these work.

Bushlady:
Smart move on your part for the tv.

Diana...Have a wonderful trip!

Busylady...I haven't had TV for the past two months anyway, and I really enjoy the peace. A few years back, we went without TV for a couple of years and that was wonderful too. I get everything I need from the internet or just watching DVD's here and there too.

There may be some good news on the horizon regarding DD's insurance. I just got off the phone with a person from the California Healthy Families program which I don't qualify for because of my income being $200/mo too high. BUT....he said that since I'm a teacher and the gross salary showing on my paystub only comes for 10 months out of the year instead of 12, I will probably end up qualifying. This would be wonderful! I believe the payments are around $25/mo for the program. Fingers and toes crossed and prayers being said that this will go through for us. I've got to fill out the paperwork and get it submitted ASAP so we can find out for sure and I can stop worrying about it.

Carol, prayers that the insurance pans out.

As we are headed into the end of April- I need to look at my list and see where I am headed next.

Enjoy your manicure and pedicure Dianaro. Me and my girl teacher friends are meeting up tomorrow night for movies, facials, and manicures. Enjoy your trip.

Hello to everyone else that I haven't mentioned!

Where was I? Seems like I missed so much!

Lynnie sometimes things don’t go as fast as we’d like!

Californiagirl, hope the insurance works out. You are braver than I for having no tv, don't think I could manage!

Mary, I seem to be in a daze every beginning of a new year, last about two months. DDad died January 19th 1986 so every year I am slow, forgetful, have feelings of helplessness and general tiredness of daily rituals and demands. For the last 5 years I have had difficulties with my SO x2 relationships and February isn’t any better... March is my bday month, don’t like getting older but spring is near and I find I snap out of it, one day I emerge saying hey! I can think straight again! Don’t be hard on yourself, one day at a time and get help if you need it, waiting isn’t going to make it any better if things worsen.

Everyone else a hello and hope you are well!

Things are almost finished in the house and I have started packing.

Bushlady:
Gypsy is going to my DS2s house, and Sylvester will be home.
DS2 will pick mail, check the house and the cat for me.

Bubblegum:
That was my Dad's birthday! I get bummed out,I was a daddy's girl, the only one, and was young when he passed. (((((HUGS)))))
to everyone who has those down times. I think it happens to everyone, and the best thing (for me) is to see just how blessed I am compared to others. Sometimes it helps, others not, but I try.

Yes, dancing for 3 hours is a great exercise! Wish I could do that! LOVED to dance!

Hi all! TGIF and all that good stuff! I must say that this weekend is not packed with any commitments!!!! I'm taking my puppy to the vet for her next set of shots, going to the mall to buy a new handbag, and then enjoy the rest of the day and weekend. I want to work a bit on two house projects -- the basement. Not cleaning or decluttering but hanging up some posters and movie-related wall hangings that I bought some time ago. I have a vast video library and it pretty much takes 75% of the basement. Another room in the basement is my workshop where I build my dollhouses and miniature stuff. I have some items that I purchased and never put away, plus start pulling supplies out for my next project(s). Of course, these aren't on my goals list for the month but I just wanna mix it up a bit. Diana have a great trip and I PM'd that information to you that you asked for.

Lynnie
