Thanks for all your thoughts about my daft postman. Hopefully it wont happen again.

Today I got the downstairs vaccumed and cleaned the bathroom, this leaves tomorrow clear as I've got a mini adventure planned for then, hopefully if my health holds out I can do it.

The woman didn't show for the bedroom set, I got another email this morning with another offer of $100. I'm taking it. I am not storing this set only to have to donate it possibly.

Yesterday, I stripped the beds at mom's and got all the linens together to give back to DSIL. Also got together anything she brought to stage the house. Called DGF again, she came over and we got the beds out on the street for the garbage man to pick up this morning. We went out for coffee afterwards. Called the radon guy, he will be here Thursday.

Came home, cooked a new recipe, but Laura brought dinner over, so I'll have it tonight. Have the heat on, it's cold and damp out.

Still no work!! Called a few customers, left messages that it was service time.

This morning I need to clean the kitchen up, I left dishes on the stove and in the sink last night. Then, maybe I will go to mom's again and pack up some more stuff.

Everyone is soooo busy. Great to see!

Waterlady, what is with people. You sit around and they don't show. Shame on them.

Karen:
I know, having choices sometimes is harder than not (with regard to DSs schooling). Know you will do the best for him, and if it doesn't work out, maybe another one would be better.

Purdy!
How can you tease me about your mini adventure, I am just curious as to what it will be. Good for you, and I hope it works out.

I sold the bedroom set. The woman who emailed me early this morning came at 11:30 as promised and it's gone! Yahoooo!

She also bought two lamps and I gave her another one that was in the basement on it's way to the shelter. They also bought the table saw!!!!! Now it's just small stuff to get out of there! She is coming back tomorrow to get the saw.

While I waited I packed 3 boxes of cleaning supplies and some leftover odds and ends, the kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets are now empty, and wiped clean. I just left a few cleaning items for the last clean up.

Garbage man took the beds. It's almost over. I must admit before I took the bedroom apart, I sat on Mom's bed and had a talk with her, like I did countless times in the middle of the night when she was here.

Waterlady - Fab news about selling the bedroom set.

Diana - My head is spinning. I had finally got myself into the mindset that everything happens for a reason, and maybe DS's school being so close is that reason. Then DH who has left it all up to me until now pipes up with "but I thought you said the other school (that is 2 1/2 miles away that does have a place) was better I think we should look at that one". So now I am as confused as ever frown

Today I have mowed my lawns and weeded the back garden as well as visiting some friends. As for the decision on schools I am going to pray that the fog of confused thoughts clears and I am led to the right choice.

I know you will pick what is best for DS!

Waterlady:
I am so glad you sold the bedroom set, etc. I hear you on the visit and talk with your mom. ((((((HUGS)))))).

Pretty happy with what all I got done today. Called the phone company and actually have a cheaper plan and free LD now. TYG
Can bugg my girls again! YEA! LOL

Took Gypsy to the vet for a BP check and urinalysis check. Need to drop off a fecal sample, she didn't want to cooperate today.

Did some beading and card making, cleaned out the freezer in the house, and will do the frig tomorrow before trash day.

Waterlady, good going on packing up, I can only imagine DM is feeling very proud of the woman you are now.

Bonnie, you sound like you had more energy, hope all is going well health wise.

Purdy, I'm curious about your mini adventure! Not prying by any means, I wish you a wonderful day!!

Karen, does DS have a preference? Does he have friends nearby who will be going to one or the other school? Do you know of any people who attend either school you could talk to? I'm sorry this is hard. I say kids do best when parents get involved in their studies, in the end if there is not a big difference in school reports, your implication and support is what makes children do well. You will find a way smile

I'm so tired! Woke up around 3:00 and couldn't fall back into a deep sleep, my mind kept running around in circles. At work it wasn't easy we had two persons to train, TYG the kids were nice enough it helped. I found it very difficult with the lady, the moment I opened the door she started wining, she doesn't take into account what we were saying disobeying basic rules and regulations, she will be a challenge. She is a bit of a know-it-all which doesn't go over well with me. The other guy was very nice, very observant, letting me talk and LISTENING to the important information I gave. He would remember names and attitudes that will serve him in relation to different approaches to the kids we have. He would correct her! Sheesh! OK rant over.

Stopped at the store to bring back some wool I won't be using after all, could not get a refund but got a few items for scrapbooking instead. DD called she came over and finished icing the cake while I cooked supper. We ate and she left for class. DS called, he is in need of a small amount of money for about a month, bad timing but will see what I can do. He said his dad can't help; he's getting a new pickup truck. Ya right, while I'm struggling to find money for gas and food... wow I'm feeling bi***chy!

Okay, plan was to finish sewing and sorting papers, new plan is to make myself a pot of tea and read/recycle magazines and be in bed by 9:00! I hate being in a bad mood! People do not have the power to make me into a negative monster, my life is going well, I choose to be happy!

Had a good day at practice. Was a little hairy at times, but we're getting there. I chose to let the Lord lead and not stress out.

BTW, I did get my hair done. It's a little shorter than I wanted, but it's definitely different!! I also had her add a little more honey color to my highlights. I like that too! May have her add even more the next time around.

Well I know it's short, but I need to go drop into bed! Nite!

Karen, will keep the school situation/decision in prayer for you.

Waterlady, good on you selling the bed set to the 2nd gal. The other gal cooked her own goose by not showing when she said she would. Sounds like you worked out a better deal anyway. Glad to hear you "talked" with dm.

Purdy, enjoy your adventure.

Diana, sounds like a good productive day for you even if Gypsy didn't fully cooperate.

Bubblegum, good job talking yourself out of the steaming helping others try to serve you. You can't control them but you can control your reaction and you did great! Things are going well healthwise right now...had trouble with shortness of breath and coughing...but prednisone seems to be helping so much! Thankful for attentive doctors!

Wendy, sounds like the "hair adventure" was worth it! It sounds like you are happy with your end results. Good job on letting the Lord lead the practice...always works best that way. laugh

Had a good day today...got some sewing done this morning along with the dailies...finished up laundry - sheets and towels - and got some Costco shopping done. Decided not to do any further shopping...Costco does me in every time! After supper I finished up a project and got it sent in. Nice to have that done!

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Bonnie - Thank you

Bubblegum - His friends are all going to the school we did not get into. His nursery is next door to that school, so most of them live in that area. My next door neighbour's son goes to the school closest to us, and I spoke to her yesterday. She is happy with it. We are now gathering opinions from parents on the one closest to us, so we can make the most informed decision.

Like you say Bubblegum parents have an important role to play too, and I do a lot of play based learning with DS at home. I am sure that whatever additional support he needs I could provide.

I just get so anxious about making the "right" decision for DS. Oh well the decision will come.
