What I think is amazing is how you can do such lovely projects with no money!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO Carol.
The photos didn't get bigger, but was able to see the way they were. The closet top is just too cute, along with the flower pots and the drawers! You ROCK woman!

Thanks everyone! I do love my crafting that's for sure. smile

And, now, because my life isn't stressful enough already and I just am not allowed to have one whole month without any major upheaval, we just learned that DD's father was laid off from his job. Granted it was just a part-time job and he only paid $100/month child support from his pay, he was supplying DD's health/dental/vision insurance through it (Finally! After I had been paying for it for 10 years.) He had to pay for it through his job for a whopping 1 1/2 years. Oh boy!

I've just checked to see how much it is through my employer to add her, and it will cost.....are you ready for this?????

$383.26 per mont to add just her! OUTRAGEOUS! I cannot afford that.

I also checked into the California State Healthy Families program to see if she qualifies. I make $200 a month too much for her to qualify because they go by gross income.

I have no idea what I'm going to do now. I am frightened for her to not have any insurance because I saw the astronomical bills that came from R's short 6 days in the hospital.

I REALLY think I need to just go live in a tent on the beach some place and forget all of this garbage.

Carol, I'm just praying that your ex. will soon get a good job that will enable your DD to be put back on his insurance and get her support as before.

Thank you ladies! I asked DD this morning if her dad mentioned anything about looking for another job. She said that he told her that he wasn't going to be looking because he was taking a break from working for awhile. Lazy bum! He was only working 3 hours a day anyway and honestly the ONLY thing that I ever saw him do there was walk from the building up to the mailbox to pick up the mail. DD told me that he also changed the toilet paper rolls in the bathroom. WoW!

Providing insurance is court ordered, but they only enforced it for 1 1/2 years out of the past 12 1/2 so I'm kind of doubting that the order will be followed. I'm going to call the Child Support Services tomorrow to check on it. (No phone calls allowed to them on Mondays.)

It looks like I may be adding finding DD reasonable insurance to my goals list. (And, then try to find a way to pay for it.) frown

i never realized how lucky mom and i were that my dad was in the navy. and that no one filed for divorce until just before he died. i guess i was lucky that he died before they got very far along in the process.

anyway carol, good luck!
