Haven't posted anywhere for a while, been busy with maple syrup production and dental work! Everyone seems to be doing well.

We are putting away our maple equipment and finally the rest of the plastic pails we planned to toss have left the house. Also we got two donation boxes delivered for a rummage sale and I added one or two items to them. So here's my latest list:

1 pair socks
1 scented mug pad
1 cookie tin
10 coasters
1 bag beads and shells
1 Christmas bow
1 metal vase with artificial flowers
31 plastic pails
38 plastic lids

292 + 85 = 377

20 cosmetics/body care products out 4/15/12. 59 items.

My tossing has slowed down a bit, but hey, it had to at some point or I wouldn't have anything left .

Here's the latest to go out the door:

Donate:
-2 towels (I really have NO idea where all these towels came from.)

Toss:
-pair of old shoes
-warped calendar whiteboard
-14 rubber ducks (Yes! You read that right! My DM keeps giving them to DD.)
- Tupperware plate (OLD and covered with too much paint to even use as my painting palette any longer)
- 2 bottles of face toner (Too strong for both DD and me)

1332 + 21 = 1353 total in 2012

14 rubber ducks, Carol? That has to be the most unusual toss we've had so far. Can anyone top that? Hey, how come you didn't just take them to a stream or river and send them on their way?

I'm laughing as I read about the rubber ducks......I have 5 small ones that were novelty items that I picked up for fun. When I had my dogs, the youngest one loved them and would occupy himself for hours picking them up and throwing them across the room. They sit on a tray on an ottoman in my living room. One has the buttons on the bottom that light up and SO's son will play with it! And....on the weekends he brings his puppy with him, the puppy does the same thing, throwing them around the room chasing them.....so tossing them is not an option.

I haven't posted for awhile here as tossing has been on hold with the many things going on in my life. Finally making dents in some things. From the basement tossed misc items totalling 30, the laundry room added another 25 items, and the main floor of the house added another 56 items. SO had insomnia yesterday and I came home to 2 full sized trash cans of stuff, lots of little things from his tool and project piles so adding about 150 there.

Previous total was 350....new total.......611!!!!

And......the garage is starting to shape up as well. He was able to purchase some overhead lighting for $8 each and plans to install them for better light in there. Will also be going through all the extra screens and tearing them apart and selling the frames for cash(all aluminum)

Well, I lost count!!!!!!! Don't have time to check back nd see what all I had tossed previously. Know it was over 200....
Anyhow I am tossing about 80 items into the garage sale tomorrow.
Don't want them back, so they can donate them if they don't sell.

Diana, I'm not sure I ever counted...I figure it is good if anything goes out of the house! Good job on all you managed to get ready to go for the sale! Eager to hear how it goes.
