Love those hugs Karen. Mary: You are always so busy, but so organized. Fleur: Sorry you aren't feeling too much better. Seems like there is a lot of bronchitis going around lately. Feel better fast. Glad DSIL was able to help and motivate you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I got my list done yesterday, except for mopping the kitchen floors so will do tha after I post this morning,and then set up the buffet for the UFP group meeting here today. House is in good shape, as this will be the last day I won't be running for the next week. Have to ETE each day and evening to keep up. Still working on sorting the items for the card GS. Need to tag and price them now. Have some fun this weekend, in fact have some fun each day!!!

Had another night of a friend trying to fix our desktop to no avail. He's going to come back again on Monday to try again. I'm getting to the point that if it's not fixed by then, we're going to take it to the pros. I need my computer back! The girls are missing doing the spanish lessons, and I need to access some other files as well.
Normal schooling and house stuff today. Will reward ourselves with a Southern Gospel concert tonight! The best part...it's free! : )
Hope you all have a great day! Cya!

Fleur - get better soon Purdy - Good to see you are not willing to let them both put on you indefinitely ((HUGS))) and congrats on all the organizing. Diana and Mary - yes the cuddles with DS are the most important part of my day. It is even better when DH is home and we have "family cuddles" as DS calls it. Wendy - I hope the computer gets fixed soon. Well today has been a rest day from housework. I went into town to do some banking, shopping and post some parcels. I then called around one of my oldest friends for a cuppa and catch up at 4pm and I didn't get home until 9pm Jane and I have been friends since we were 7 and along with our other friend Cher there is nearly 30 years of friendship between us. Well Cher called around too, so the three of us sat after dinner catching up while our children played together. A lovely night and all the more precious because although I see Jane twice a week or more we do not get to see Cher often Tomorrow we are taking FIL the hospital for a appointment, and then spending the rest of the day at the in laws. Enjoy your weekend all and I will catch up with you all on Sunday.

I slept 10 hours! Still felt like staying in bed so I read for a while. Got up, had breakfast in front of the computer and then started the day. Got the sofa cover to the wash, again. Changed the plants around, hopefully kitty won't eat and throw it up all over again. Did online banking as well as budgeting. I got the kitchen organized, the bedroom picked up and the bathroom cleaned.
Read the borrowed books about special education, to get down with the lingo for my interview tomorrow morning. Laundry, folded. Tried on a few items of clothing and tossed 4 more t shirts. DGF called met for pizza and wine, don't you love Friday evenings? Then I went at the hardware store, got a few needed knick knacks. Repotted 2 plants and cleaned up the kitchen again.
Got my clothes ready for tomorrow, did my nails, the alarm clock is set. A bit a tv and reading before bed. Wish me luck! I do hope they do see I'm a strong and intelligent woman!

karen, sounds like you had a great time w your friends
purdy, i would just toss the tapes.
diana, you complete so many projects! 1 x stitch takes me an entire YR!
after posting, i read my 75 juno email for the day, then listened to 3 downloads and a webinar. i took time out for taquitoes, black beans and the last of the can of corn and again for chips and yoghurt. then i finished reading the book and read most of a pamplet. i went to bed at about 9am up again at 530. i listened to a webinar while doing thesheets and the windexing and cleaned out 1 frig, then went to the bank, came home and did the daily routine inc restocking the dcf coke. next a quick bath, then i finished reading pamplet #1 and started pamplet#2. i took a break for a cup o noodles, then read all of my just in's. mary

Met with the handyman, he got the work done in no time at all.
Came home and was going to quick clean and my other DGF called (the usual no-show one!) and wanted to stop by. She and her husband are splitting up and she didn't want to be home while he was there working. We had chinese take out for lunch and a long visit. Never got to vacuum before my other friend got here. I'm glad the house has been in pretty good shape lately and I didn't need the whole afternoon to clean.
DGF and I went out for breakfast yesterday, then strolled around a small craft town near here. Stopped at a nursery and DGF got some plants.
I couldn't sleep so I've been up since 3 am. Got some more emails about the furniture for sale, hope I can get rid of it this weekend.

Wishing you luck Bubblegum! I feel you will be a student shortly. I too like Fridays. WL: Sounds like fun meeting with your friend and window shopping.
Wendy: Sorry about the computer problems....so frustrating!
Purdy: You are doing great! I hear you on the VCRs to DVDs. Would like to redo the kid's wedding tapes. Ironing! You don't use dryers do you? I only iron when I need to, have gotten lazy over the years! New fabrics help keep things soft and unwrinkled.
Mary: I know I have too many projects! Trying to get rid of most of them this year...(might take a couple of years though). Started another embroidery gift that will probably take a month or so. Some cute Christmas pot holders for decoration. Also worked a little on cross stitching. Like to finish up some of my personal projects too! Beading continues without saying anything.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Had a fun gathering with the UFP gals. Served fruit and small fruit bites and tea and coffee. Make a buffet serving place so they can help themselves .
Today am meeting with my gals from needlefelting for lunch. We haven't been together for a long time. Looking forward to it.
Stayed at home last night to rest up while the family went out. Got a 2nd wind and washed dishes, cleared off kitchen countertops. Feeling a bit better...no big coughing fits like yesterday...sinus infection turned into bronchospasms, but have a new inhaler for this. Hope to be back to normal in a few days!!
DH and I tackled the house this morning. Got all dishes washed and a load in the dishwasher started, wiped down and cleared off kitchen table, living room and master bedroom vacuumed, kitty litter cleaned out, 2 load of laundry folded, one put away, 2 loads washed/washing. Hardwood floors vacuumed. Waiting to see what the plan is for hanging out with family today.
